Noah's sacrifice of a clean animal (Genesis 8:20) shows that he understood the difference between clean and unclean.

"And the Lord said unto Noah, ... Of every clean beast thou shalt take to thee by sevens ... and of beasts that are not clean by two." Genesis 7:1, 2.

The Bible has ample evidence that there were clean and unclean animals from the very dawn of Creation. Noah lived long before any Jews existed, but he knew of the clean and unclean, because he took into the ark the clean animals by "sevens" and the unclean by "twos." Revelation 18:2 refers to some birds as being unclean just before the second coming of Christ. The death of Christ had no altering effect whatever on these health laws, since the Bible says that all who break them will be destroyed when Jesus returns (Isaiah 66:15-17). The Jew's stomach and digestive system in no way differs from that of a Gentile. These health laws are for all people for all time.

a) None?
b) Writings from recognised saints?
c) Some of the books that had been voted out from the Emperor Constantine's Nicene council?
d) Some that have been removed like the Apocrypha?

A lot of "iotas" have been decided on through history. If another "Nicene council" happens, what would you say could be included?

And if you do C what I see, what does it mean?
I've always found the following scriptures puzzling:John21:1-14
Becuz Jesus was now here risen from the dead and this group He visits (Peter, Thomas, Nathanel, the sons of Zebedee and 2 other disciples) this is the 3rd group of people he has shown himself to.
The word says that he called to them from the shore to come and dine with him, and they did, and that not one of them asked him, "who art thou"- knowing it was the Lord!
So I picture them all in awe, too dumbstruck for words, here's Jesus who was hung up on the cross for hours, after being severely whipped and beaten, who they also knew had been pierced thru the side with a spear, and blood AND water came out-signfying the spear had pierced his heart..then put in a tomb...so you tottally know they were like waiting! For what He would say...you probably coulda heard a pin drop..anyone else see this?
What does he do? he sits and eats!
While they wait bigeyed. hmmmm .why?

Christians assume that God is real. What are YOUR basic assumptions?

A marriage is falling apart due to an affair. Why aren't the prayers to work it out and save the marriage not happening? Is it because God has other plans for these people or God lets these people have free will in what will happen but already knows the outcome?

trying again, I deleted it by accident last time.

Does your religion actually fill your need for belonging to a community, a need for acceptance, be-ing in the right or what else.
Please think about it.
This is a serious question

For those of you who dont believe in God, are you 100 percent, without a doubt, NO chance of being wrong, positive there is no God? Can there be a chance, even a small one, that there is a God, and you just dont know it? What percentage are you positive that there isnt a God?

Most Christians believe that God sends people to hell for not believing in him, or at least allows them to be sent to hell. Supposedly God sent Jesus to Earth to sacrifice himself so that sin could be washed away and humanity could be saved............from God. Remember that it is God who sends nonbelievers to hell, or allows them to go to hell (he's all powerful). So why would God do this? Why would he sacrifice himself so that he could save humanity from himself?

Don't you think that it says something about a person when they are capable of making the right decisions without the guidance of a superior being or a book to tell them what to do?

Don't you think Jesus knows more than the total knowledge of “humanity?” Why do you think you know more than Him and why can't you just except Him? He is the only one that promised to save you.

A recent article in Time Magazine compared & contrasted Sunnies with Shiites, & among other things, said that while Sunnies invoke only Muhammed, with God, Shiites invoke both Muhammed & Ali, his son-in-law.

While it is common knowledge that Muslims pray "There is no god, but, Allah, & Muhammed is His Prophet," how would a Shiite say this then: that Muhammed & Ali are His prophets?
