I like the "Purpose Driven Life" really helps you understand your purpose here on life.
I heard the John Eldridge is a really good writer and also Mark Shultz. I am trying to get the book "Captivating" by John Eldridge, its made for women and I know he wrote a book for men that my boyfriend read and learned ALOT from it.

No More Christian Nice Guy.... read it for yourself and find out!!! O.o
Seriously, it's a good book. It talks very frankly about sex and about the kind of person Christ was. It was mostly about not being a... Christian Nice Guy... The truth of the matter is Christ wasn't very "nice." He used sarcasm, foul words, and he raised his voice. He also did better about being open with his emotions than most men do today. It's a powerful, life-altering book. It also has thought-provoking chapter titles like "Jesus, the Bearded Woman."

Have you tried "This Present Darkness"? Thats followed up by "Piercing the Darkness".
Their both Frank Peretti books based on spiritual warfare. They did amazingly well even in the secular market.
I love it because it starts off showing you the human side to things, and the angels even seem human until you start to realize no one can see them and they are doing supernatural things. The Angels gain power from the saints prayers and they are constantly fighting to tip the scales in our favor. It gave me goose bumps thinking about what might be going on invisibly right over my head.
I really can't wait for the movie to come out.

In the Bible, Galatians, because "It is for freedom that Christ has set you free" and "The only thing that counts is faith working through love."
Also writings of T. Austin Sparks on the immense significance of Christ and Francis Shaeffer on True Spirituality.
And most recently I read a book by a man name Scott on the topic of Love.

First and foremost the Bible. I love it and read it every day. It gives guidance on how to run your daily life plus hope and comfort.
Next would be "The Late Great Planet Earth", by Hal Lindsey..great book. If you aren't saved it will scare you to death.
Third is "Pilgrim's Progress", by John Bunyan

I love Charles Spurgeon books, because he is very anointed, easy to read, and full of truth.
I also like F.B.Meyer's books very full of life, full of truth, and makes the characters in the Bible seem like you have know them all your life.

Hell's Best Kept Secret, by Ray Comfort. It talks about the problem of modern evangelism and show how we can share our faith biblically and effectively the way Jesus did.
