Religion & Spirituality - 5 March 2007

Jesus declared, "I tell you the truth, NO ONE can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again. John 3:3-5
I'm little bit confused with 2 things.

I know Jehovah's Witnesses believe that being born-again is for anointed Christians only. That means this small flock can see/enter the Kingdom of God since they're born-again spirits already.

How can Jehovah's Witnesses with an earthly hope be "born-again" to see/enter the Kingdom of God?
Hope this question makes sense to you.

Well I'm a proud wiccan yet my parents dont know i have a myspace covered in wiccan stuff and that im even a wiccan. they are strict christians and would kick me out if they knew. yet my friends dad decided to find my myspace, print it out and hes going to show my dad!! what do i do without telling them either of my secrets? oh i have to figure out something by tommorow morning

for oppressing galileo, copernicus, and other non-believers of thier time. people where lynched ad exiled for not believing in the chuch. the church has a long history of rascism and bigotry. us atheists should be apologized to, formally, for the way we've been treated in the past.

I guess it depends on your values right? Heres a format that might help you decide if you would like to be forced to live under Allah's law.

Do you prefer:

Hetero-communities where both genders freely communicate or single-gender lifestyles (islamic) where woman are almost unseen?

Do you enjoy the diversity of cultural contributions from all over the world or would you prefer the singular relics of Christian Byzantine archeticure mixed in with a little moorishness, dates, and hummus?

If your a man, how would you feel about being with men all the time, bending over, and knowning the backside more intimately (5 times a day for life)?

Do you need lots and lots of enemies (as described in the Quran) to give your life purpose?

Does education seem pointless to you? Does your insecurity about your intellect make you simplify all other view points as "that of the arrogant people".

Do you need need little simple answers for everything?

God said I should hate that which is evil . God ultimately will judge him and take him in his due time , but I'm peeved that so many people are dead because of this guy . It would have been ok to wish Hitler or Mussolini dead , right??

I think Jesus came back already and saw all of the crosses on peoples necks and just said, "forget it". If you got hit by a truck and came back to life 2000 years later and saw people running around with little Peterbuilt logos on thier chains, you would be angry too. That was the worst day of his life and you christians are constantly reminding him of it! Could you please knock it off?

there are many things said in the bible that suggest that ghost are demons trying to fool people. why would a demon want to fool us humans you might say? simple ! the devil always contradics god, and he trys to make us do the same thing. for example in the bible god says the dead dont come back to hunt or neither they know nothing "need proof"!! ..here u go:It's in the Bible, Ecclesiastes 9:5-6, 10, NIV. "For the living know that they will die, but the dead know nothing; they have no further reward, and even the memory of them is forgotten. Their love, their hate and their jealousy have long since vanished; never again will they have a part in anything that happens under the sun. in the other hand the devil trys to make people think the opposite of what our lord says by saying that we can communicate with our love ones or by saying that they come back as ghost. with all words said (( literally)).tell me what you think.

it doesn't make it bad if Jesus was married and it doesn't make him less a god if he left bones behide Paul talked about Jesus being of flesh and BONES don't you believe it's possible that god gave him a new body ? I'm not saying they really found the tomb of Christ but don't you think they should have the right to re-investigate the site again if this was king tut would you be still debating this?
