cigarrettes are considered a half-sin...
it's not a total sin, but yet, advisable to not smoke..
weed on the other hand, is a contraversial one..
it is rated as a class 3 drug wherelse cigarrettes are class 2 (which is higher)
weed was earlier known to man as medicine cos it helps to ease the pain of the injured and smoking it as a pastime revolves around socialising...
smoking weed has effects of a wide spectrum...
but most of the people i know who smoke it are brilliant people who smoke it to just get away from their hectic lifestyles...
some even smoke it for better absorbtion while studying...
in general, it's just an hour 'high' per roll or cone..
use it, but don't abuse it and it'll benefit you to a certain degree...
like i said, contraversial and contradicting issue...it's just how you look at it...
(if a prostitute helps a thirsty dog obtain some water ; or an alcoholic assist an old lady across the road, what do you think?)

i hope not. Cuz i smoke weed a lot! I like to think it is okay because afterall God did make it, it's just a plant

Yes it is a sin. You're using the plant not in the way it was intended. You're breaking a law. You're possibly getting into more drugs. You're not treating your body like "the temple of the Holy Spirit" that it is.
