We are told.....
"Never forsake yourself the assembling together with those of like faith"
You tell me, what do you think that means?

I think there is really something to gathering with other believers and worshiping together. It provides a way for you to connect with God in a way you cannot if you never go to church. I agree that if you cannot find a church that you feel is "right" then it can be excused, but I think if you're a Christian you should attend worship services at least once in a while!

I think you can. You should still be doing good works though and you could possibly be missing out on things. I don't go to church much either because I just never really learn anything new. You should still tithe to a church or ministry and be reading the bible and praying all the time. You should still be very much involved in the Kingdom in other ways.

Going to church doesn't make you a christian. Repenting of your sins and receiving Jesus Christ as your Savior and Lord makes you a christian. And if you are a christian you will love God. And because you love God you will love other christians and want to spend some time with them. So you would go to church to praise and worship God and hear His word preached with your fellow believers and to pray for one another other. If we as christians can't assemble one hour a week together, how are we going to spend eternity together?

Yes you can but God wants you to associate yourself with other christians. Maybe you just haven't found the right church yet. In the Bible, God said "Where two or more are gathered in my name, there am I also" Don't give up. The right church is out there for you.

You can have the beliefs of Christians, but in order to really be a Christian you need to go to Mass every Sunday. This is a requirement, and a mortal sin if you don't. If you have the faith, why not celebrate it through Mass.
And, yes, there are some parishes/pastors that aren't the best, but you have to get pst that and remember that you're there to worship Jesus, not the pastor...

Of course. Church is just a place to meet other Christians and listen to someone talk about the bible that may or may not have the right idea.

Well dosent that sound contradictary that what gets me upset about some "christians" today. The reason they were called christians is because they looked so much like Christ Christ didnt forsake the gathering together of the saints and him and the diciples fellowshipped.

Sure if you don't live in an area where there is a church to go to. But when a person is born again and given spiritual gifts they become "members" of the body of Christ and part of God's family. If someone professes to be a Christian but they don't have any desire to fellowship and/or serve with their brothers and sisters then it could be a sign that they are a Christian in name only.
1 Corinthians 12:12 For just as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, though many, are one body, so it is with Christ. 13 For in one Spirit we were all baptized into one body--Jews or Greeks, slaves or free--and all were made to drink of one Spirit. 14 For the body does not consist of one member but of many.
1 John 4:20 If anyone says, "I love God," and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen cannot love God whom he has not seen. 21 And this commandment we have from him: whoever loves God must also love his brother.

Yes...very possible but it good to have fellowship in a body that you aprove of. So its very possible but its good to read the Bible even if you go to church to study or not.
The bible say if you confess with your mouth and believe in your heart Jesus is Lord you shall be saved.
