well if they found jesus body then it proves them wrong, because that would mean he was never resurrected, and lifted from the earth to join god.

According to bible prophecy the false messiah would show up after the red moon. Guess what happened? This was planned. The show was interesting but apparently left a cliff hanger to sell his book. The child hasn't been proved yet either even it if it was the missing tomb. To me the clue is the tomb itself. In the show Stargate SG1 there is the same symbol except the O is over the inverted V or pyramid. It also is similar to the eye of God on your dollar bill. But, it also looks like a bird house. They had said there were markings inside the tomb as well. Too much coincidence especially to wait so many years to bring it out now. The only thing I'm convinced of is more questions than answers.

because the point of the whole "documentary" is not about looking for truth. It is about stirring up controversy as a means of making money. Add to this the facts that show that this was not the tomb of Jesus Christ and you see a blantant falsehood being used to denegrate all of Christianity.
Would it matter if Jesus was married? Not at all. There would certainly not be anything wrong with it if he was. However, since the Bible does not mention that he was married, we assume that he was single.
I do not question the right to debate the authenticity of the tomb. What I question is the callous attempt to use it to make money, especially since this site was already questioned when it was first dug up in the 1980s.

"If this was king tut would you still be debating this? " that gave me a great laugh. Nice way to say at the end " I don't know what I'm talking about " . To compare Tut, who was merely a Pharaoh for 10 years at the most in the New Kingdom, to Jesus Christ, is not logical. Neither are you.

If you want to find some objective documentaries about Jesus and the early church, keep an eye on the History Channel. The Discovery channel can't seem to get their facts strait and throw out tooo many 'what-ifs' without any substance behind them.
To answer your question, Jesus was (and is) God incarnate. He came to do two things: teach us how to live our lives in a close relationship with God and then to suffer and die as the perfect sacrifice for our sins, re-establishing that relationship.
Though He was tempted in all the things we could be, He overcame all temptation in order to be that perfect sacrifice. He had no need for a wife and was wholey involved in His mission. His relationship with the Father (God unseen) supplied His every need. Sexual desires are just that, desires not needs. In fact there was nothing He did without the direction of the Father; obediant even to death.
If you read scripture you will find that the only bride Christ had is the church itself, you (if you choose to be) and me. He loves us that much.
God established marraige as a semblance of what our relationship with Him will be like (not the sexual aspect, of course). Likewise, if you want a great relationship with your spouse, look at the love God has for us to be your model. It is the perfect one.

Jesus didn't have any children, he didn't get married and He arode from the grave in His physical body. Nowhere in the Bible does it say that Jesus got a new body. Those aren't Jesus' bones because He came back from the dead. Read this article that I found talking about the supposed grave of Jesus.
I am a Christian and we are not "angry" we are just suprised at all of the Biblical ignorance.

Fear is the major force behind anger. Most of the literalists and 700 clubbers believe Jesus escaped death by getting up and goiung for a walk. Kind of a Holy Zombie if you know what I mean. If Jesus was killed and his bones to rotted in a box until the Jewish Antiquities Commission stumbled onto them, then they all have some serious rethinking to do. The get scared if they have to think. It is not something they enjoy.

We are not angry. We have no reason to be. Why do ppl like you assume that we live everyday expecting some "wise scientist" (ha ha) to prove that our GOD is not who HE says HE is? Get over it. GOD is GOD and JESUS was buried in a borrowed tomb. After HE arose there was NOTHING in the tomb except the burial cloth which had been around HIS head. That's it.

King Tut isnt like JC and denying JCs resurrection is a sin against the holy spirit - a sin that wont be forgiven.
Let them "re-invetigate", make up lies about his life and mock all christian believers...let them go on if they want - till the end of days...

established questions... supply me a 2nd... ok... First, i'm particularly, particularly sorry to pay attention approximately your loss... 2nd, in case you maintain your Mum on your suggestions and your coronary heart, then specific of path she will see you. and there is not something incorrect in anyway with asking why; you are able to have faith that there is a reason, yet nevertheless prefer to understand the reason, won't manage to you!? specific, God did nevertheless love you even once you have been thinking and doubting him. in no way think of in any different case. No, not something you probably did would have brought about your Mum's dying; you would be constructive of that. and finally, no person - not your Mum, not God, not even your instructor - is going to be mad or upset (or maybe stunned) if on occasion you cry. it particularly is common, and that's a factor of remembering and honouring your Mum. ok? those are established questions, certainly not stupid... finally, if i ought to, slightly notice of warning... Please do not go speaking to youth pastors or pastors at here (or everywhere on the internet). seek for them out at your church, or ask your instructor's advice please...

Jesus was never married and He did not have any children. It is not a bad thing to get married and have a family. But those things are lies about Him, and that is bad.
