My parents, my fiance, and I share a house and my father has a friend who visits but everytime he comes a negative energy comes into our home as well. This past weekend was the worst because my mom nd dad fought terribly. My dad said things that he would never say to my mom. This is from my moms mouth so I know it is not just that I have never heard him say these things. My oldest brother even said that he saw a "demon" or evil spirit in his eyes at one point. This is a childhood friend so I doubt if we would just tell him never to come back. I need to know how to get rid of this energy and protect our house. PLEASE ONLY ANSWER IF YOU ARE SERIOUS I REALLY DON'T NEED ANY RUDE COMMENTS!

Chimpanzees have been seen using spears to hunt bush babies, U.S. researchers said on Thursday in a study that demonstrates a whole new level of tool use and planning by our closest living relatives.

What do you think. Right now all Yahoo does is ban accounts. But I use to moderate on a forum, and we use to ban the computers IP address, wouldn't that be a great idea. No more trillions of accounts. If you get banned, you have to buy a whole new computer. Anyone think this would be a good idea?

This question was prompted by another user asking what Bible verses to write on her Easter eggs for her child's Sunday school.

Everybody knows that Christians borrowed a lot of practices from the Pagans, and yet, most Christians think Pagans are evil, devil-worshipers. Now, doesn't that seem a little hypocritical? Of course, it's all about intent, right? Easter eggs, baby animals, and pastel colors, for Christians, are a representation of Christ - somehow. Now, for us Pagans, Easter, originally known as Ostara, was/is a celebration to welcome the warmer months and the rebirth of the earth. So, if Christians don't intend Easter to be about the earth, and we Pagans don't intend our celebrations and practices to be about your Satan, how do Christian's justify calling us Pagans devil-worshipers?

If you celebrate the seasons like us Pagans do, you become just like us; practitioners of Paganism. Thus, you become just as "evil" and "devil-worshiping" as you claim us to be.

In both the Catholic and Protestant branches, there are many different titles for the priests, like father, pastor, bishop, friar, etc. I don't know much about either of the branches' titles, so can u give me a list of each title in order for both sects?

I was out with a couple of colleagues last night having dinner at a place I frequent. Our waitress, who consistently gives absolutely wonderful service, was left a Jesus book rather than a tip on a six top. I saw it and she told me about it too. To be frank she was pretty angry and in my opinion deservedly so.

Christians please explain this behavior to me. What is it you hope to accomplish?

There was the cycle of the mineral, the rock. There was the cycle of the plant.

And now we're in the cycle of the animal...coming to the end of that and beginning the cycle of the human being. When we get into the cycle of the human being, the highest and greatest powers that we have will be released to us. They will be released from that light or soul that we carry to the mind. But right now we're coming to the end of the animal cycle and we have investigated ourselves and learned what it is to be like an animal on this earth.

At the beginning of this cycle of time, long ago, the Great Spirit came down and He made an appearance and He gathered the peoples of this earth together — they say on an island which is now beneath the water — (...continued in link)

Listen, all you clerics, archbishops, and bishops and all of lower rank in the Church! Listen, all you religious, of whatever order you are! Listen, you kings and princes of the earth and all you who serve! Listen, you women, princesses, queens, and all ladies and maidservants! All you inhabitants of the world, of whatever condition or rank you are, whether great or small, listen to these words that I myself, who created you, now speak to you! I complain, because you have withdrawn from me and given the devil your will, and you obey his suggestions. Truly, I have redeemed you with my blood, and I ask for nothing but your souls. Therefore, return to me with humility, and I will receive you as my children

Hey, I understand! It used to be my favorite dodge too.

Could you please put something IN context for me? Why would god order people to kill people who picked up sticks on the wrong day of the week? Can you place in context for me why that would be moral or why an all-powerful, all-loving god would issue such a command? Thanks/

Or would we consider him an instigator?

Were Jesus' apostles victims or instigators?

I would argue the latter since they went to other people's hometowns to start trouble...

Many believe that we must remember the death of Jesus Christ as a way to have our sins forgiven and be welcomed into the Kingdom Of Heaven...

But I just think that a wise and loving prophet was tortured and killed by people who aren't very different from those around us today....those that persecute the poor or the helpless....isn't THAT what we shall really be remembering (even by wearing the cross) less history repeats itself, correct? Not why Jesus died...but HOW and WHO persecuted him......honestly we persecute people everyday.....we have to remember that Jesus was preaching the Golden Rule...the simplest truth of all religions.....

What if we do not want to live? What is the fault of the sinners who are dammed to go to hell? May be they never wish to have been created. If our destiny is already determined by our birth, what is the fault of the mankind?

to be one you would have to know everything and be like a god yourself, which you are only human. How can you not see the truth that is staring you in the face. John 3:16-17 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perrish but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world though him might be saved.
