Just because someone gave her a Jesus tract does not mean that person was a Christian or that Christians as a group approve of that behavior. If you would stop stereotyping Christians and actually study Christianity and the long history of Christians giving more food, clothes, and money to help other people than any other group in world history you would see this, and maybe even become a Christian. Please read the Bible.

I have always left a tip wherever I go. Typically I do 20% if the service is really good. I also usually try and talk to them and get to know them as much as possible, so there just not another person to me.
I would never leave a gospel tract with no tip. Kinda destroys whose name you claim to come in dont ya think?

Every pastor I know tells the congregation not to leave a tract unless also leaving a generous tip, and many I know insist on approving the tract to avoid the kind of needless offense that Chic tracts give everyone that reads them.

I am a Christian. Whenever I leave a tract for a waitress, I leave an extra nice tip.

If you give a man a fish, you feed him for a day , but
if you Teach a man to fish, you feed him/her for life (eternity).
Which is more important, a few dollars that will not accomplish much by themselves, or the only gift that keeps on giving. You could have given her a few extra dollars if you were so concerned about the "almighty dollar"
Perhaps this was a message, not only to the waitress but to you and your "colleagues" also.

Because they are self-righteous snobs, and don't care that waitresses rely on tips to make a living. If they were the caring people the claim to be why not the tip and the trash can filler?

The tract was OK but they should've left a good tip also.

That's horrible. I hope the waitress took it and threw it at one of their heads.
