The world is rather different from what I expected. How many times do I have to ask this question before somebody sits up and, oh and by the way did I say "Hallelujah!" to Jesus?
I didn't? Okay, Hallelujah Jesus!

I am a Christian and do believe in hell, and that you must accept Christ if you wish to be saved, but I fail to see the purpose of using hell to scare people into heaven. This method does not work, nor does it create an envirionment for open discussion, which might produce the desired response.

According to the bible faith is a gift from God. Does God give everybody this gift?

"For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God" Ephesians 2:8

Is it the Christian or the non-Christian? Remember blessed are the meek.

On another note, is the "yoke" a good symbol for marriage?

My man converted to Islaam (beautiful religion, i love it dearly). We are engaged now and I want to know what I am supposed to do. I am also a convert and I taught him what I know plus he read the Quran. I have my two children from my previous marriage whom he dotes on and don't really plan on having anymore. Is there something that we as an ummah do on such occasions? I've been thanking God and praising God even more than usual since then because I am so happy. What are your suggestions. (NOTE: I am not the clone, I am the original. The clone hacked me.)

I know its probably been asked before. I'm just curious. Usually a free thinker is a person who is open to all possibilities- including God. So if someone says they dont believe, they are a free thinker- how indeed, can that be? Because they aren't open to things they can't really see. But I guess thats where the faith part comes in. But it seems atheists put more faith in the world and themselves, which is a scary thought.

Last night I heard a story about an american literature teacher who made the fallowing requirements for her class: must read the quaran, must wright a paper as if on a pilgramage to mecca, must build a model of a mosque, and must wright a paper as if in the middle of a jihad. What surprised me first was that this was in an AMERICAN lit class and second that no one cared. If a teacher required their students to read the bible build a model church and wright a papper on a major christian figure, student rights activist and the ACLU would be all over it, but not for a teacher teacind islam. why is this doble standard allowed in america?

A woman once told me that god took her husband away from her. This guy was a big time alcoholic and he died from liver cancer. It wasn't god's will, it was his stupid decisions! So christians, do you have an answer for me or are you just gonna give me some vague answer and tell me to go pray harder?

Just because a FSM doesn't exist that wouldn't rule out a higher conscious in the universe. Humans cannot tell how limited their perception is. Who knows what we will come to understand a million years from now?

The History Channel said that Moses simply compiled stories that had been passed down by his ancestors. Please explain what you think about that.

Eph 4
25Therefore each of you must put off falsehood and speak truthfully to his neighbor, for we are all members of one body. 26"In your anger do not sin"[d]: Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry, 27and do not give the devil a foothold. 28He who has been stealing must steal no longer, but must work, doing something useful with his own hands, that he may have something to share with those in need.

29Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen. 30And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. 31Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. 32Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.

Fred Phelps is a pastor of a Babtist church in Kansas who, along with his followers, pickets the funerals of Amercian soldiers. He is an extremist who "hates f*gs(his words not mine), hates America, and is thankful for 9/11 and Hurricane Katrina. He has several sites: GodHatesFags.com, GodHatesAmerica.com, GodHatesCanada.com and GodHatesSweden.com. You will not believe what goes on in this psychos head. I just wanna know if anyone else has heard of him, and, if so, what do you think of him?

I am not happy with my life today. My girls were injured in a house fire on 12/26/06. Though they are recovering, I don't understand how such a LIFELONG physical scarring that my 9 yrs old daughter has is FAIR & JUST! She has just started "Life" and has 3rd degree burns on her arms & back. I am angry because she has to live with this for the rest of her life! How could this happen to someone SO YOUNG?

Currently we've just gotten acquainted and we study together. She does all the Christian camp stuff and is very conservative while I'm mostly indifferent. She hasn't asked about my religious beliefs or lack thereof. How strict are Baptist girls?
