To be honest, I think to some degree it should be both. It should definitely be personal, but we shouldn't be ashamed of it in public, either. If that were the case, we would be hiding a part of who we are and what makes us that way. That being said, screaming it around is not very becoming, either. We should live it in both privacy and in public, but be wise about it, too.

Personal, except on here. But this isn't really 'public', is it? I have no desire for strangers to know my spiritual beliefs, I'm not into shocking folks with something different than what they're used to. Part of it is I know I would be approached by 'missionairies' and other kooks. Part of it is it's just none of their business, what works for me may not work for someone else, I view the Divine as universal so their is no need for me to try to spread my faith. I have some tattoos of spiritual symbols, but those are mostly covered up all the time.

Personal.
I always feel put upon and uncomfortable when some yahoo feels he needs to prove to the world how Godly he is by praying at the school board meeting or with the football team before a game.
If someone asks my religion I tell them, but prothelasizing and praying in public is just rude.

I use to think it was personal. But people I don't know come up and talk to me in the grocery store or at the gas station, I've met quite a few new people recently. Even though I don't attend a local church on a regular basis, I have been thinking of maybe starting a coffee table bible study.

Both. I enjoy my walk with God on a personal level. I can hear Him speaking to me at times just as I could anyone else. Publically, it is my conviction and because of my personal fellowship with Him that I want others to experience it as well.May God Bless U.

When we are saved God expects us to be witnesses of our Lord Jesus Christ with the power of the Holy Spirit working through us in all places we are called to go. See Acts 1:8 'But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.' We are who we are in Christ not just by what we say but that Jesus Christ is manifested through our lives because we have been transformed by the power of the Holy Spirit to be like Jesus, showing forth through our lives both the fruit and the gifts of the Holy Spirit. Our Christian lives are public when others see Jesus in us by who we are in Jesus and what we can do like Jesus. We become public by being most important of all and then doing like Jesus. In other words we must walk the talk.

What difference should it really make to anybody else? You can be as private or public as you really want as long as you stick to Truth only and do not follow any crazy organized, demanding religous beliefs. Follow the real Truth and nothing else will matter.

For the most part it's non-existent.

Every now and again...usually when listening to music, occasionally from art or literature....I'll feel something. I'm not sure what to call it....just...things fit well. Not sure how to word it any better then that.

The minimal spirituality I do have is personal.
