Fortunate times? Stressful times?

i went through a short period in college where i was very angry at God for some things that had occured in my life...i swore that i didn't need God, and infact went looking for...something..on my own and stumbled upon Wicca....after a few months i realized that i didn't want any part of paganism...i eventually found my way back to Christ...but i just recently read that there is an "unforgivable sin" = blaspheming the Holy Spirit...is this something for real? am i doomed for all eternity b/c of something i did years ago? i am NOT catholic.

would appreciate answers from born-again Christians like me.

Can you eplain how come we have different races?

Do you believe in dinosaurs?

Do you think that Adam and Eve looked how we look today?

Don't you know that evolution does not just deal with physical characteristics but how we change mentally?

because of all the claims that God can't forgive sins unless with a sacrifice, then God sent Jesus to be the sacrifice and get tortured and killed by the people he creates.

i strongly believe that wasn't the reason behind Jesus death. i believe God can forgive and has forgive alot before, no one need to die for anyone sins, and good people are not equal to bad people, and everyone responsible on his sins, and can be simply forgiven by just raising ur hand and asking God for forgiviness.

Just because he wanted to spread Islam all over the world,that was what god ordered him to do,so yes he fought other people,but his aim wasn't to make bloodsheds, to be a king or to rule the world,his aim was to save as much people as he can from the fires of hell,first he started with peace, if he can't do it,then he had to fight.because foolish people don't know what is good for them and what is bad.and that was his mission, to make them know.(like when you beat your little kid if he doesn't want go to school,it is very important,and you love him,so you have to do it)

Note:Unlike any other prophet who was sent to his own people ,prophet Muhammad (pbuh) was sent to the whole mankind and also Jinns.

Can you get the holy spirit thing and learn all about the rituals and dogma that the god wants just through knowing God and having no knowledge from the book.

I mean in isolation with no religious figureheads telling you what to do.

Some people say murdering or molesting a child is the worst thing...but they can't be murdered or molested if they aren't born can they?

God is omnipotent so why does he need to have someone suffer to teach us a lesson? He can teach us the lesson and get the same result without using suffering....unless he's not omnipotent.

Why do so many churches declare we are all broken and can only reach heaven if we accept Christ? Scare tactics? I have realized many things in the past week that have changed the way I see things. Jesus died for ALL of us, not just those who believe in him. Why do we insist that those who don't accept Him go to hell? If that were the case, why would Jesus have came at all? We ALL have the grace of God, some of us do not choose to acknowledge it (not bear fruit), the Spirit is in all of us wheather we accept it or not, what do you think, Jesus will love you anyway :)

Spiritual people are having excessive emotion on a particular focus? Any spirit like sportsman spirit, political party spirit, alcohol spirit, religion spirit, etc etc make a person deviate from cool and logical approach? Is it deviation from original energy/impulse level in human mind?

Spiritual people do not consider maximum parameters associated with any given matter? Do they skip all the 'assocaiated matters' ...due to their spirit ...and do stupidity? Do they become domitable for colonization due to their spirituality, conditioned mind, and prejudice?

Who exploit this imbalance in human interactions??

I am an athiest, and like many athiests, I feel that anyone can believe or freely worship anything they want, from a cross, to a rock to a banana leaf. Why is it, that the christian religious, who are supposed to be loving and accepting, feel so entitled to openly disparage and dislike anything that they don't believe in, such as athiests, wiccans, cohabitation, muslims, jews & homosexuals?
p.s., I think that the religion and spirituality category is the best one on yahoo answers since it is so politically and emotionally charged!!

This morning I drove in to work behind a truck that had a Jesus bumper sticker, fake bullet holes, and one of those peeing Calvin decals on the back. How do you reconcile this reference to violence and such an inappropriate gesture to have on your car with the Jesus message?

I realize the most likely answer I will get is "that person was not a true Christian", but everywhere I look this is the contradictory message I get from Christians. Why are there so few "true" Christians out of so many people who claim to follow the faith?
