What a clever question. Yes I do but had never thought about it. It must be due to the deep indoctrination we receive as kids before we become atheists. I also often say 'Jesus' when something scary/horrible happens. One thing I would add to your question would be why does anyone say God when they come? Religeous people shouldn't because it is sinful to use the name of their god in vane and we should not because shouting out about a ficticious being is just silly (I may try to shout out Easter Bunny or Santa Claus tonight when I get off!)

Yes. The expletive arises from culture, language and custom and has nothing to do with religion. Look at Charlton Heston - Supremo of the 'Weapons for all brigade' in the USA - never made a film without saying 'Aw ma Gawd!'

I think anyone can say anything they like during sex or orgasm, at the end of the day how each individual expresses pleasure is up to them & they could be refering to their partner as their god tehe

yes i think they can say it who wouldn't want to call out to him especially if it's good!! sometimes you don't really think about it it just comes out you have to give your props to the man up stairs if it wasn't for him you would have that piece of a** and even god likes to get credit where credit is due

Athiests can say whatever they want, but religious nuts can't say "Oh my god" because that would be blasphemy and they would have to go to hell with all the bogeymen etc...
