Do you have any examples of Christians who try and fit the Bible onto realilty? For instance, on one question about Dinosaurs and God, some guy answered that in the Bible it mentions dinosaurs: it states "large creatures" so "obviously it meant dinosaurs". You see what I mean? It's like, "well since we don't know we'll say that large creatures meant dinosaurs". I'm just wondering if anyone else has any examples of Christians doing this with the Bible. The Bible seems so malleable, right?

Serious answers only.
The weak, stupid, and losers of society always commit suicide
when given the chance.
Dosen't it make sense that the ugly and useless creatures
should be able to commit suicide? We have no other use.
The more imperfection that is destroyed the more perfection
can come out and shine! Why should I be punished in Hell
for ending my own life?

I would like to know your opinion on what happens to all of the unreached people of the world, those who have not heard Christ's name, when they die? Anything you can use to support your answer is welcome!

First off I'm a Christian! I consider myself more open-minded than most, in that I can tolerate others beliefs & keep mine to myself.

But anyways, I asked a question earlier about why some athiests are so mean to Christians & degrade our beliefs & most of the responses I got called me a hypocrite saying that Christians pushed our beliefs way worse. That really upsets me. While I think we should try to spread the word of God, if someone says no, we just have to accept it! We shouldn't tell them that they are going to burn in hell because they believe differently. As true as that may or may not be, its not acceptable in today's society. What are we aiming for, a dictatorship of Christianity? I feel sorry for people who don't know God & Jesus, but I don't see that as reason to go all preachy on them if they are firm in their beliefs & don't criticize us.

Christians who do this need to stop looking down on others. It makes us all look bad! Anyone agree ??

. freezing people works great in the movies but suppose they are sucessfully brought back, whatever they died of has been cured, will they have a soul or will they just be a meat puppet? My beliefs lead me to think that once you are dead your soul goes on to wherever souls go. will God give this person another chance. Secondly, why would anyone want to be frozen? Its expensive, not guaranteed, and if it does work and suppose God does give them another chance, everything the person cared about or anyone the person loved will be dead and gone from this earth, whats the point?

The Bible says God created the heavens and the earth. In seven days.
It appears ever since , it has required the use of money in order for him to continue his work.
Money obviously had nothing to do with his original greation. Why then is it so prevelent now?

She says I am forcing it to be a cannibal, but I am not forcing it. Anything fried, french fries, nuggetts, this bird loves. And it begs me to feed it some. So do you think there is something wrong with feeding a bird to a bird?

Hello dear brothers and sisters in Christ.. :)

Please Answer these questions with scripture from the New Testament only..

What should we do?

1. When someone steals from us?

2. When we witness to others?

3. When someone hurts us or despitefully uses us?

4. When others make fun or ridicule us for being self rightous?

5. When we see ANYONE, in need?

It is my heart-felt prayer, that my brothers and sisters will not be conformed to this world..but show EVERYONE the Love of Jesus..For we are to be the Light of the World.. :)

For Jesus did not come to condemn the World, but the World through Him, may be saved.. :)

With Love..In Christ.. :)

Why can't I just die and he forget about it?
My life is horrible already why would he
put in a place even worse for trying to
escape? I have no talent and all my dreams
are dead an buried. What's the point of going
any further?
P.s. Also don't think I'm some nut with a gun against my
head right now. I'm not and neither am I an attention getter.
I'm just asking a simple question.

Matthew 27: 24 -25
When Pilate saw that he was getting nowhere, but that instead an uproar was starting. he took water and washed his hands in front of the crowd. " I am innocent of this man's blood," he said, " It is your repsonsibility!"
All the people answered, " Let his blood be on us and on our chilidren!"

I just thought it has to do something with it.

What does "IT'S" refer to? Life in general? Or are they referring to the hokey pokey itself being all about that? I am confused, and very much trying to read more into this than is probably there. Is it perhaps an old reference to a Masonic code word? Or maybe a teamsters hand shake?

I am a physics major and as of yet, I have seen nothing in quantum mechanics to either refute or justify Christianity. In a way, quantum mechanics is a jigsaw puzzle that physicists are trying to piece together and there are spaces still left empty. I'm hearing from some religious groups that these "spaces" are empty because only an act of God can be the explanation. However, couldn't it be that the "space" is filled in with something like an undiscovered elementary particle or something? Or perhaps that part of quantum theory is just wrong? Why do various groups try to use quantum mechanics to either refute or justify God's existence when it really seems to do neither?
