One might consider the lowly catepillar. Happily and contentedly munching away on grass and leaves and stuff. Do ALL catepillars die as catepillars ? Wonder if they have ANY inkling of an idea that they are more than their present physical form ? (They undergo a 'metamorphosis' into a butterfly...look up the word)
Be careful what your 'god of intellect' is whispering into your mind and heart. Do you really believe the world is flat ? Sure we can cite example after example of humans getting it wrong. Let's not throw the 'baby' out with the 'bath water' because the water is dirty ?
Fear can be healthy as well as un-healthy. Lack of Fear can just as well be a result of Foolish Pride, overinflated ego, Hostility, and just plain ignorance of the whole picture. Same little baby HAPPILY AND FEARLESSLY playing on a window ledge 10 floors up...we give the 'parents' a free pass and hold God responsible ? Are YOU playing on the Ledge of "What I see-hear-smell-taste-feel is ALL that exists?" Cant 'see' infrared or ultraviolet...yet...the 'frequencies' exist.
The Creator has given you a mind. Use it or loose it. (Can 20 Billion humans REALLY have been waiting for athiests to set the record straight ? Are athiests such 'gifted' and 'insighful' people who seem to have so much knowlege of the universe that they can legitimately swim contrary to the vast overwhelming majority of human existence and say' There is no God' ? ) But, you and I, we've been through that...and this is NOT our fate...So, let us stop talking falsely now...the Hour's Getting Late....Hey !

I'm a Christian, I don't fear man. I do "fear" God, meaning I give God the utmost respect that He rightfully deserves.

We don't HAVE to believe in any thing. Its a CHOICE, one that will bring complete satisfaction when this world has passed away.

1. How are those that speak of the way one can be saved.. are fearful?

2. How do you know He is "invisible"? Is it because you don't see Him as you see your parents? how is that fearful?

3. Why do you call God a "skydaddy", when in fact He is the Father of all created things? how is that fearful?

4. What do you think the "unknown" is? Why do you think it is fearful that we who do believe and not in fact fearful, but grateful for the opportunity to be present to us to come into the family of God, our Creator?

5. How is prayer deemed as a fearful manner? You must not understand the meaning to praying. Its not just based on the "protection" for us... but to ask God to bless those who He blesses with a comfort of peace, understanding, and pure comfort.

6. Why are you intimidated when you hear the word of Jesus?

Really? You're perfect? Wow--congrats--you must not be human!

I didn't care much about religion, either, until I faced some life problems that were too big for me to deal with by myself. Is that fearful? Yeah, sometimes. But life is big and messy. Sometimes I hurt people. I like the comfort of knowing my mistakes won't ultimately condemn me. The Christian god is one of reconciliation and grace. I like knowing that, ultimately, trying to do the right thing stands me in good stead in this universe.

I am humble and respectful. I was lucky growing up, religion wasnt forced upon me. I decided on my own freewill to worship God in all his glory and to adhere to the best of my ability his tenets. Am I fearful at times? Yes. But this doesnt make me any less of a man then you or anyone else. A little bit of fear can be a good thing.

I am a Christian. Comfort can be found in praying and reading and talking to God. Even if you are true and he does not exist than still is not better to get comforted from something untrue by praying rather than keeping a burden on your shoulders? Many people out there are searching for something, God, which i believe is real, is the answer for this. Do you think being fearful makes you less of a man or woman? I do not. We all get scared sometimes

We who believe in God is not fearful. God do not allow us to fear. If you fear.... then satan is near & workin his way with you. We who are saved are in no fear... we are saved and in God's hands. What's the different from believin in what is seen and what is unseen? As long as we feel that love and our prayers gets answered right. What is unseen is power. What is seen is just seen. Does what is seen mean it have powers? Magic is unseen when it is done rite? Yes... We are only happy becuz we feel the skydaddy love. And we are protected. Me and my bf a while ago.... we always lose our cell phones about like lose a phone each month. And no one ever returns it. Out of all them times no one returned it? Yea cuz we werent close to God & we never prayed for it. But my friend who is committed to God and training to be a pastor, she lost her phone and then about a week later somone returned it. Its all about faith in God and pray to God. If you seek it ask for it. I don't pray for God to protect me. I pray to him becuz I was goin thru problems. And when he strengthin me and showed me the right way to live. I got closer to him and now all I know is how much he loves me and how great it feels. Once you are close to God... it is his job to automatically protect you. I don't fear hell., or neither others who believe in God. Cuz we believen him and worship him and he is our love why would we fear going to hell? We are already close to God now spiritually so of course we are only going to be closer to him when we leave this physical body. Those who don't believe there is a Hell are the ones going there so they don't need to accpet there is a hell. They will be living there anyways.

Amen. But watch out man, you'll go to hell if you don't believe, attend church, and donate money for the "cause."

Ask them for money, they have to give it to you,the bible says so..."Give to him who asks of you, and do not turn away from him who would borrow from you."- Matthew 5:42...See who the real Christians are when it comes to giving up their funds, and enjoy money from the sad folk who are that lost in fantasy land, or have true morals and donate it to a respectable non-religiously affiliated charity.

When you know a man's religious complexion, you know what sort of books he reads when he wants some more light, and what sort of books he avoids, lest by accident he get more light than he wants. -Mark Twain

There are three kinds of people that know no fear. The incredibly stupid, the totally insane, and the Dead. If you are in one of the first two groups now, you will be in the third soon. You are already showing signs that you are brain dead.
