His source is the American Academy of Science, which admits only top scientists from their fields - Nobel Prize winners, outstanding researchers, etc. A survey of them done a few years ago showed that about 90% were atheists, and 5% additional were agnostic/non-religious.
God didn't give me my brain. I spent 10 years in college studying to be a scientist, and no one else is getting credit for my hard work.

God is not useless without athiest scientists. The more scientists do, the more they prove that creation makes more sense. When scientists tried to prove that men came from apes and found bones they knew werent the link, that proves the scientists know they are wrong but try to prove different.
Stop and take a look at the earth. God created the earth in a mature state. Common sense says that radio carbon dating would not work. The solar system and cells are such intricate things that it proves that there was a creator.

I'm surprised about the 85% figure-usually it's over 90%. I think it's pretty obvious that comparatively few scientists will be believers. It's a career that demands analytical thinking and hard evidence-religion only demands blind faith so the two aren't compatible.

II am willing to be you or someone in your family has benifited because of a scientist at one time or another. someone was gravely ill? very sick in hospital? but you depended on that scientist who came up with a cure or treatment because of his vast knowledge? if he was part of that 85% who was atheist would you turn his knowledge down? refuse treatment?

You can't have good without bad...
You can't have freedom without oppression...
There are alot of things you can't have without the other. It wouldn't exist if it didn't have the opposite.
So if there were no God, there would be no athiests. In a way athiests make christians believe more (i.e. convert more people). Therefore they need each other....

Nobody is an atheist , used to say a monk..According to the bible atheists used to be godless people...meaning , I suppose ..people who lived without fulfilling God's commandements ...or the people who obeyed to idols ...to Zeus Aphroditha...I think that it is an ancient atheism like the one who comes from those who obeyed to idols ...and it is a modern atheism like the one who comes from Darwin...These atheists are not proud at all ..they obey to a man ..this Darwin ...as if he is a god...Belive Darwin cannot make ...a tree....and the space...I think that the atheists are making us to want to marry them ....in order to convince them that there is a God...although they already know it ..inside their hearts...I tell you ..belive in God , because it is so....great...and He deserve it...God is the Master of the Univers ...is the master of our lives...I have no words ..to glorify him ..in the beauty of the women ..in the greatness of the men ..in the colours of a flower ..in the light of the sun.....and the clouds ..makes me think that ..there it is the land of the brave angels...
