so hateful to gays. I'm not saying all of you are, but when I see some answers in the GLBT formum I see some hateful remarks towards gays. Why is this? It hurts my feelings. Please no hateful remarks. Thanks

Christians are not supposed to be hateful to anyone. But so many religions are based in fear and control. So people lash out. You probably know that when people who call themselves Christian are being vicious to gay people, they are remembering what they were taught as far as the Old Testament goes. I personally think that when Jesus came, he tried to teach people differently. Some of it stuck, a lot of it didn't.
Bless your heart and try not to take any of that personally. Christians just simply are not always loving, kind, giving, or compassionate in a lot of situations. So I'm in the dark as to why they call themselves followers of Christ.

Most people who are anti-gay are vehemently denying their internal feelings. It is stated by scientists that over 90% of ALL society has had a gay experience in their lifetime. It shouldn't be seen as any big deal.
If you figure that 90% have had gay experiences and then only 10% of society is actually gay, then most of society has had gay feelings and have merely chosen to "go the straight route" in their lives after that. No big deal, people make the choices in life that make them happy.
G-d accepts and forgives everyone. It is only man who can't forgive or accept.

well the Bible says its not ok to pactice homosexual activities.
God made sex for a man and woman. Not man and man. Obviously somethings not right. But Jesus taught us to love everyone. We are to love even the worst of sinners. Those Christians who hate on gays are wrong. Ignore those people.( they probably arent real Christians anyway). It is a good thing to tell gay people that they are wrong in a nice and kind manner, but not tell them that you hate them and they are going to hell. I am a Christian and I know gay people and i treat them as good as I treat straight people. I used to be kinda bisexual, but as I became a Christian it eventually wore off and now I am straight. I hope one day you will become a Christian (if you arent). True Christians love one another and dont hate. You seem like a nice guy, so I thought id just ask.
God loves you no mater who you are or what you do.

Hi,Jesse, I think the problem is that Christians hate the act of homosexuality and hopefully not the person but some have over time forgot the difference and have now got used to lumping both together.

I'm Christian, and I don't hate gay people. My best friend is Bi-sexual. While I don't approve of some of the things she's done, that doesn't mean that I love her any less. Despite our differences on the subject, she still feels free to discuss the matter with me. I've lost track of the number of times I've consoled her after she's gotten her heart broken. Please don't judge all Christians by the few who are rude.

I believe that Christians should not be hateful of gays, but it says in the Bible that in the Beginning God created Adam and Eve and that man should leave his mother and be united with his wife. I feel that Christians should love everybody! But Christians today believe that being a homosexual is wrong with God.

It breaks my heart that so many Christians think they have the right to condemn others. It is not the place of a Christians to judge others.

I don't go to the GLBT site, & you come to this site asking us Christians how to believe, Friend, Gays & Lesbians are all sinners as anyone else has been & they too have to be born again & turn from their wicked ways. The same as we had to.
