Jesus said that he had not come to change the Law of
Moses (Matthew 5:17). The Law of Moses teaches that
there is one God (Exodus 20:3). If Jesus was
introducing the concept of Trinity, why did he not
say that he was changing the Law of Moses or
introducing a different. Uhmmm! I wonder why he did not say I am the Father, Jesus and the holly Ghost ... WORSHIP ME. It seems to me he had plenty of opportunity to say such things. After all the bible is such a huge book.... no???

Why did Jesus prohibit the Gospel from being preached
to the Gentiles during his ministry (Matthew 10:5,
7:6,15:24-26) but after his 'resurrection' tell them
to preach the Gospel to the whole world? (Mark
16:15)
If Jesus really had made the latter statement, why
was there such a fierce debate within the early
Church (and particularly between Peter and Paul) as
to whether the Gospel should be preached to the
Gentiles? (Acts 15:6-30)

I personally believe that we are saved by grace, and that reward is based on behavior---Christ saves us by what He did, we are rewarded however by what we do. What do you think?

Atheists believe in neither God nor Heaven and I accept your right to believe as you do, so since I do not disrespect you--please allow me to ask my question without having for you to state your views----your views are noted,

Is the argument about evolution versus creationism unique to the West? I'm interested to know what belief systems are taught in various parts of the world and by different religions concerning how the world started and humans came to exist. Here in Europe (and I think in the US) we are taught at school that the theory of evolution is correct though some people disagree with the theory and say everything was created by God. Is it the same where you live and do you have the same arguments, or is one theory accepted as correct?

I know that atheists dont believe in hell, that does not need to be restated--it is a given, and you are entitled to your belief.

I will often read electronic magazines or my favorite novel while in the washroom. But is it inappropriate to do so with the Bible? This is a serious question. Please no disrespectful comments.

According to the Bible God has already put names in the Book of Life, meaning he knows who will be destroyed or have eternal life. So when he removes name as shown in the Bible due to disobedience, does this mean God made a mistake when He felt certain people deserved the Book of Life? How can this be?

Do you ever wonder if you're really saved judging by your behavior??

I sometimes wonder that and I also wonder if I actually believe what I say to be true...that God loves me more than anything...I believe I am fearfully and wonderfully made....I do believe that but I find it hard to accept how precious I am to God...it sometimes helps me to imagine God as a human in Heaven...is that wrong??

I don't think I have any gifts, I got prayed for to be baptised in the Holy Spirit but I didn't feel anything - I know things only happen for some people but its like, I feel like I have a spiritual block in my life and its really getting me down....

Help!

His extreme religious beliefs have shown to be nothing but harmful to the nation and world in general. And even worse is that he is demanding that everyone and their brother follow what he says or else, and calling out anything he doesn't agree with as evil and thus non-existant when it is not his place to decide any of that.

I went to church when i was younger until i started to realize there wasnt really a good reason i should be believing in jesus. I mean i never really believed in him when i sat in the church pews and sang songs of praise every sunday morning. There is no use in pretending. i also started to take it to my cultures, i mixed im african and native american and christianity was used as justification to destroy my people. you might say it was the people that did that not the religion but i see the religion as there creation and belonging to their culture and not mine.so why should i believe?
