Being religious, even in a misguided fashion, does not violate the First Amendment. The President has not demanded anyone follow any particular faith, or variant thereof; and in fact has been more open and tolerant of other faiths than many of his predecessors. Therefore your premise is false and your question invalid.

Congress has violated the First Amendment numerous times in its history (under both parties) and skates by with it. Perhaps that is where your attention should be directed; that is, if you were truly interested, or informed, regarding Constitutional issues as opposed to yet another childish and ignorant Bush-basher intent only on fomenting hatred.
