Jesus said that he had not come to change the Law of
Moses (Matthew 5:17). The Law of Moses teaches that
there is one God (Exodus 20:3). If Jesus was
introducing the concept of Trinity, why did he not
say that he was changing the Law of Moses or
introducing a different. Uhmmm! I wonder why he did not say I am the Father, Jesus and the holly Ghost ... WORSHIP ME. It seems to me he had plenty of opportunity to say such things. After all the bible is such a huge book.... no???

The Holy Trinity is a Roman Catholic gimmick - nothing more.

The 'trinity' is just an advertising campaign used to get Catholics to attend Church - it sounds very 'family-oriented' - the father, son, and the holy spirit. Extremely sexist - no mention of women anywhere.

No...Jesus didnt say He was the trinity because He is part of that tripartite entity but not the whole. Yet He is still God nonetheless.
or else there wouldnt need be the Holy Spirit overshadowing Mary to have the virgin birth. There wouldnt be the Father, Jesus had been referring towards the Father in the following verse...
The Father is greater than I (John 14:28) and the Holy Spirit different from Jesus in the following (John 14:15) which depicts the Holy Spirit as another counsellor... So Jesus isnt the Father and neither is He the Holy Spirit

Try Matthew 3:16&17.
Then 28:19. (from the mouth of Christ),
Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.
Then again 2 Corinthians 13:14.
Then again from the mouth of Christ:
And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another comforter (the Holy Spirit), that he may abide with you forever -John 14:16
The New Testament sets forth:
A Father who is God -Romans 1:4
A Son who is God -Hebrews 1:8
A Holy spirit who is God -Acts 5:3&4
Easy enough to understand now?
Funny that HE should mention it.

Matthew 5:17-17"Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them.

the old covenent between moses and god ordained avid sacrifice as the path to heaven. the new covenent jesus made with man created the new path to heaven. the laws were not abolished, many christians sacrifice in the form of a tithe. althought we should strive to adhere to the ancient laws because they are good natured, works no longer have diction over your salvation.

jesus said i and the father are one, and before ascending to heaven granted the earth with the holy spirit. his purpose on earth was not to gain worship. god does not require worship. jesus' purpose was to spread the wisdom of the spiritual father.
god as the father, ordained himself so. god as the son, came speaking his word. god as the holy spirit, upon our personal choice, claims the hearts of those who follow.

the trinity is God the father the son and holyspirit to break it down

God was in the begining and he sent his son and his son promised the holyspirit jesus came to finished what adam left off in the garden jesus restored all things so now we are back in the swing of things jesus came to restore the spirit of god which is the holyspirit or the spirit of life back upon the earth jesus delivered that promise. but only one thing he did not take care of is that the wild still runs from us when we touch the wild that curse won't be taken away until god creates a new heaven and a new earth

Because Jesus Knew that he was the only begotten Son of God & not God himself, There is no 3 perons as many thinks, You have one spirirt & that spirit is God the Creator, then God indwells his Son when Jesus was 30 yrs. Old & not until then , & then God dwelll in Jesus reconciling the world back unto himself, & Then On Pentacost you have The Same spirit of God that created all things & dwell in his Son Is now dwelling in his people as the Holy Ghost

Jesus was not the trinity he is a part of the trinity and the law is not that God is one ...but God is definitely one God. Jesus understood that no man bears record of himself and the word and prophets and the Father told who Jesus was the fact that Jesus had power over sin and death and he did say eh and the Father are one and before Abraham was I am. He was also worshiped and no man or angel allowed others to worship him. Jesus fulfilled the prophesies of his coming to the letter read Isiah 53: But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.
7 He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth.

Read the other prophesies he fulfilled but this one where he opened not his mouth....Jesus was revealed in many prophesies and the Father himself said this is my son in whom I am well pleased.
Consider also that Jesus was trialed and was crucified for blasphemy for implying he was God when asked if he was the son of God he answered... you said it is so. I fhe had not been the Son of God would he not of denied it rather than be crucified?
Jesus understood his purpose for being here was to atone for sin and reunite a sinful creation with a righteous God...He himself foretold of this.

Jesus never mentioned the concept of the trinity. He thought of both God and the "comforter" as seperate from him.

(But you already knew that, didn't you?)

For the same reason He spoke in parables.

"...Because it has been given to you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it has not been give. For whoever has, to him more will be given, and he will have abundance; but whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken away from him."
Mat 13:11-12

To try to understand this we need to go back to the fall and disobedience of Adam,Jesus came to restore what Adam lost the proper attitude in serving God in humility,Jesus had to do this as one of us to enable this restoration and so He did not allude to His status as God nor did He want to lord it over us,but by His humble submission to the Father He was able to bring about the Kingdom of Heaven, by His death and resurrection.
