So many people have changed their religions. Atheists have become Christians. Christians become Pagans. Pagans become Muslims. Muslims become Hindu. Hindu become Christians. Christians become Atheists.... I mean we all change sides at some point, so isn't it foolish attacking other religious views? Either we attack people who later will join us, or we attack people who we will later join.... In the end, we end up mocking ourselves.

And I read earlier that Christians dont like the Athesists because atheists try to push there beliefs onto them. wth???

Isnt that like the Jesus Creed for christians though? To spread the gospel and all that jazz?

Was it difficult to get out of the lifestyle?

I just finished watching "Jesus Camp" and it got me thinking that it must be really hard for kids to get away from an entire community of whackos...

The movie is really great because it shows how people think in these rural areas - they really believe in what they are saying but they seem so misled.

I'm not down on just christians - any religion has these ignorant extremist groups... people that are not really practicing the principles behind the text.

Is it because Muslim women are too ugly to look at or is it because Muslim men are rapists who cannot control themselves if they see the skin of a woman?

I'm Christian.. Before that I was very much anti-Christian (not Atheist, I knew God existed, I just hated him and Christ).

What about you?

It can't be to become a believer, because you dismiss any evidence presented as garbage, you dismiss the Bible as fiction, and you dismiss religion altogether. Again, I am typing this so you can't know the degree of sincerity in which I ask. I don't mean any offense. Just curious.

I mean Thomas Paine wrote that there were six planets in the Age of Reason. Should we mock him and disregard everything he said because of that scientific error? No. Because it simply wasn't known then exactly how many planets there were.

They are such hateful and violent people. Look at how they treat their women. Is there any rational reason to be a Muslim? I can't think of a single one.
