Don't take it so literally. Dead souls have a long gestation period, where they stay in a different plane, for many years, even hundreds, before being born again. Some take lesser period. But we humans are so possessive that we need our uncle back so badly that we rush things a bit. Why not settle for some other soul, we may not know, but they may be good and interesting.
Regarding your lyrics, it only means that 'in the midst of death we have life, and in the midst of life we have death'.

Nope....the population of the planet is increasing, rather than staying consistent.
As for the dates that you mention....those co-incidences have happened in my family and in families of people I know a few times. I don't know why....but it does happen.
