No! Only a psychotic or Alzheimeric parent would do such a thing. Perhaps if a parent was schizophrenic they would listen to the voices and punish their grandchildren for what their children did because the voices told them so. Do you know someone who would do such a thing? They should be reported because I'm sure that is a form of child-abuse.

Oh... you we are in Religion & Spirituality. You are refering to God punishing people for the sins of their fathers... Then it must be OK because the bible tells me so.

It is not that I need to punish my grandchild...it is that the grandchild is going to suffer if my child is doing wrong.

It's called sins of the father. behaviours we pass to our children because we know no better.

No i wouldn't punish them for what their parents did but I'd try my damnedest to make sure they didn't repeat the mistake either. I try to balance the world I'm taught with the world I know.
