When people say "talk to god.. He will tell you where to go or what to do".. what do you mean by.. "he will tell you"... How exactly does God speak to us? I didn't grow up in a religous home (obviously) so don't criticize.. i'm trying to learn and become closer to God. Thanks!

If you believe yes and worship him then you are breaking one of the ten commandments.
Thou shall worship none other but me
If you believe in the trinity and that God and Jesus are one and the same,Jesus died on the cross then rose up to heaven.
He did not come back to life,Therefore your God is dead.

Why do they dismiss anyone who claims to be the next messiah as a crazy person? How do they know this person isn't telling the truth? Because deep down they know it's impossible, their subconscious knows there is no God.

from Christians on here needing guidance? Like, what bible should I read or what does the Bible say about ______? Can't you just skip those questions, leaving them to people who can actually help? Are you that desperate for attention?? Do you have that much animosity towards Christians?? I know the temptation can be tough for you, but puleeeze!

3 wise men from different nations all came together as they followed this star-however if one was from the east and another from the west or north or south, they would not have merged-so I presume that they came from the same general direction

Lets say you won 2 million, and automatically we see the winners only receive about 60% of that. The rest of the money is deducted as a Tax. However whenever I file my income tax I am allowed to donate money to charities-churches or nonprofits and this is considered a tax "write-off". I ask this because the money that comes out of the winners share is being taken out without their input as to where they would like to see the Tax money go-towards what cause. If I won (!), I would not want the taxes to go toward the Iraq war-toward the government or toward paying their paychecks. I believe I should have a say into where this money goes. Can I do this?
