Yes and no. Yes you are as alone as everybody else and can feel lonely and isolated. And no in the sense that your view is shared by millions. If you're new to this viewpoint you can look up sites on agnosticism and atheism or ask questions if you want more to consider. If not, who cares?

If your religion makes you feel like that then that is good for you. But such opinions reinforce many atheists views that religion is merely a crutch.

I think you probably already know that you are not alone in not believing in God. A vengeful, jealous and unjust role model fulfills the argument that God is a human creation. The banishment from the Garden of Eden; the persecution of Job; the slaughtering of thousands for the Israelite cause sounds too much like the Middle East today. Lot's wife, who became a pillar of salt; Jacob's hoodwinking of Esau; the annihilation of the Egyptian army in the Red Sea --- the list of questionable divinity goes on and on.

I couldn't tell... but I'll ask you this: How can people belive that this wolrd we live in is the most sublime creation of a perfect being?
Isn't it far more interesting to realize that we are all the product of chaos? That a red sunrise, a multicolres rainbow, the singing of a bird and your girl's perfect smile are mere produts of chance? "Intelligent desing" is not only false, it is disappointing.

The other way of looking at it would be: if you DON'T believe in a god, you are alone...judging from the questions we see daily in here, I very much doubt you are the only non-believer around...

You are not alone, when you are young sometimes your parents want you to believe in god. But it is your choice! I do not believe in God, however I do believe we are all here for a reason and when it is our time to go it is our time to go. I have had 2 very bad life threatening auto accidents and it's a miracle i am alive but i don't believe it was my time, I don't think it was god.

I am sure if the planet could speak it would thank each and every non-fictionite for being who they are.
We must do all that we can to save the believers and return them to reality, they will thank the good for doing it.
