I find that with very few exceptions (eg Daniel Amos, The 77s) if it weren't for the message, I wouldn't listen to much contemporary Christian music because it's just not very good. Who agrees with me? Why do you think it's that way?

I was wondering if anybody knows any prayers for protection. like something short or easy to remember. im looking for something to say when you are scared.. or situations like that.. i am looking for wiccan or pegan prayers, if you can please list a source or how you know it i am interested in how prayers are collected as well.. any other fun or interested wiccan things are also good to share...

marketing their organization than they are with preaching the truth as the Bible teaches it? It seems that they are singing to the choir to keep them coming back, and not ministering to the children of God. Your thoughts?

the question is, what if Islam was truly a message from ur God?

This is a weird situation but I will try to make a long story short. I am happily married and I have one child. Me and my husband work very hard for every penny we have but we constantly always have trouble. We have cars always breaking down, running out of money, we're out to lose our house, its just one thing after another. I work two jobs and hardly ever get to see my son and my husband works 60 hrs a week but heres the whole thing I don't understand... we are good friends with another couple and they NEVER have anything going wrong in their life, they bought a super nice house for cheap, the wife whom hardly has any skills in her area - got a really good job and I dont know how, they're always winning stuff, they have a free babysitter.. when we always pay for ours... I know i'm comaring us to them, but its just like how can someone who works so hard have the worst luck ever?? They aren't religous, I would say we are more religious than they are. I just want to cry.. really.

I know to many this type of question is always avoided but I am curious as to where we (humans) go after death? I was raised Catholic so I was brought up believing in God and Jesus and Heaven and Hell. But now that I have grown older and more knowledgeable I begin to question these things. Every preist always states you must go on faith but really I dont know how much you can go on a thing called "faith". I think of death sometimes and just cannot ome up with a rockj hard evidence for any places of where you go after death. The one thought I did have is that we all come back to live another life, dunno though. If you have any views on where you might end up after death what ever your religion please state them below. Thanks for your help.

Seriously, I believe there is only one God, and is whatever image we want him/her to be.

I believe God is a "he" because of the way he is written in the Bible. And I've been raised with pictures that showed a black Jesus. I want to hear your responses.

Where you raised the same? (In a sense)

Do whites worship a white God while Black worship a black God?
