Seriously, I believe there is only one God, and is whatever image we want him/her to be.
I believe God is a "he" because of the way he is written in the Bible. And I've been raised with pictures that showed a black Jesus. I want to hear your responses.
Where you raised the same? (In a sense)
Do whites worship a white God while Black worship a black God?

When he created man, he created us off himself, therefore every "being" on earth is an image of God.
When God sent his son Jesus Christ to walk amongst man, he was too in the image of Gld and the people. Therefore God has to compare to the structure of man. And not just a "being" or ray of light.

I believe that God in Heaven is not of color, or race, or any particular image. He could be the same image of a dog or goat in Heaven, all things placed on Earth were created by God, therefore God is in and of everything.

God has no colour. He is not black or white.
There are other races except black and white that also believe in Jesus. Do asian people believe in an asian Jesus?? I dont know.
It does not matter though.
God is a spirit and people can imagine him however they like.
God has no colour. And when we look at people, we should not look at colour either, we should only look at their heart and soul.
This is what matters.

When I think of God in a human body, first I think of Jesus, the tradional Jesus, medium fair skin and long brown hair, and then I think of Santa Clause, only without the red suit.
I agree that his image is whatever we want it to be, because He does not have a physical image. Jesus does, of course, but we don't know for sure what he looks like.

God the father is neither black or white, or any other color. God, the son, the WORD made flesh, in the flesh, would have been probably olive to light brownish. Jesus was a Jewish man, look at the Jewish people today, what do they look like? You will have your answer, at least as far as in the flesh goes.

You need not be concerned about the color of God. Why? Because you will never know nor will I or anyone else. No one person knows anything more about God than any other person. Each and every one of us knows absolutely nothing abut God. And when you pray you only talk to the wind. Ever seen consistent results?

I believe that God is a spirit, and therefore has no color. Does it really matter? If one makes it to heaven, I do not see them wanting to leave because God didn't turn out to be like a preconceived notion that one had in their mind of what He would be like.

Well God has no gender or colour, but Jesus was certainly not the one depicted up and down most of Europe: long reddish hair, pale white skin, ginger beard. Yeah right! He'd have got skin cancer in a second where he came from!

As humans we can paint any image into any colour we prefer. As for God he is a spirit, invisible and colourless. So as you said he can appear in any kind of body or colour he wants. Look at the sun see what colour it has. So God will be like that. He could not be beheld until we are there with Him. Check the book of revelation.

I never thought of God as being white or black. I believe Jesus was middle eastern as his mom, Mary was Jewish. In all my pictures of Jesus, he is white with reddish brown hair, I honestly don't think white people worship a white God and blacks worship a black God, at least not in my church, as we have both white and blacks there.

you do not ought to make an statement or change colleges except you dislike the faculty for another reason. there are various non Catholics in a lot of Catholic colleges there because they stay in a Catholic usa the position its area of the common college gadget or because they provide a rather strong preparation comparative to accessible options. My husband's an atheist who went to Catholic colleges and that i might want to say 1/2 his acquaintances who went as well are a minimum of agnostic. Telling human beings in a detrimental way will galvanize an same reaction that a religious man or woman coming up and belligerently telling you that you'll hell might want to in you. relax, the international is finished of diverse reviews. in case you recognize someone and the challenge comes up obviously and also you imagine they could cope with it then communicate it in a calm and rational way. Be prepared to comply with disagree.

God is not human, color is not an attribute of God.
Now, you can probably appreciate why Islam prohibits the creation of paintings or sculptures of the human form. Your image and thoughts of God, your creator, has been unfortunately corrupted by other people's false imagery.
Too bad!
