It's not fair. If God can do anything and everything, why can't he just forgive us.

Why Jesus have to die for us???

There is no one greater then God, so can't he just forgive us


Why is it that Christians believe that there is something called inheritance of Sins or Original Sin

Everyone should be responsible for their own sins. And that's called justice.

prophet mohammed is best human in all the world. he never breakd a heart, he never disrespect people. he show us to love each other, to respect each other.
he teach us to respect our parents. help all people. help pure people. he order us to help children with no parents.
he told us women are like flower, so trate with them softer than flower. if he married with lots of women it was not for his sex drive. he wanted to protect women. in that time arabs was trate women very bad way.
women was property for men, he told us that women are free as u are.
in that time arabis was kill their baby girls just because they are girl. every time he heard that he was cry too much because his sensitve heart couldnt accept it.
u never saw him, so plz if u dont know him, just dont tell ur opinion about him.
if muhammed is just name for u, it is holyest story that i ever heard. and if u are in wonder because i didnt see him and believe in him then just know that i believe him more than my eyes.

How times change! Was all the rage in the 70s, with Beano characters being whacked on a weekly basis. My husband got it at school and my mum kept a flip flop just for smacking (yes, social services have been informed!). Has slippering died a death or just gone underground like dog fighting?

Does not descreditting (believing in evolution) the fall of Adam and Eve in the Garden completely cancel out our need for Jesus Christ? Without the original sin we would be sinless and not need Jesus to die for us on the cross. So if you believe in evolution, how can you be Christian, it does not make sense.

I mean a sin is a sin. There are no grey areas. It is a black and white issue. So if you are gay (which is not a choice, but that's another issue) which the church believes is a sin, what makes them different from the couple next door that is living together before marriage? Both situations are open and honest, yet the unmarried couple is likely to receive a warm welcome to the church (with perhaps a stern lecture) while gays are outright made to feel not welcome. Why are the situations so very different? They are both a sin in the eyes of God.

BTW, I am living with my fiance and have never felt out of place in my church. The priest has never even said anything. And it is common knowledge that we have lived together for 3 years.

In a recent question, someone suggested that the beliefs of Christians who claim that any scientific evidence that contradicts the bible should be rejected should be respected. What do you think of this? Should such beliefs be respected? Are there any consequences to society if they are/are not? This involved not just Christian beliefs, but all religious beliefs that go against provable, scientific reasoning.
