She would have to be the wife and mother of God, and that gets to sounding kinky, and the religious can't have that.

Jesus is the Son of God and is different from his Father...Jesus was born through Mary by the holy spirit that is why she is called Mother of the Son of God.

yes she is the mother of Jesus and she gave birth to Him. but she was with Joseph at the time. and God is a Heavenly being which means He is/was in Heaven at that time. He will always be in Heaven. so He could not be married to Mary. i think i worded that right. it is confusing though if you think about it.

Mary was the chosen vessel used to make Jesus flesh and blood a reality. Once this was done her task given to her by God was complete.
My question to you is if Mohammad at the age of 54 married a 6 year old girl and consummated the marriage when she was nine according to the Koran, does this make him a pedophile and a rapist?

I'm not a religious person, but I've thought about this. I want to say it's the idea that all people are the children of god, but Jesus was THE son of god. Jesus was "The One" of god's children.

ok i read it like this god is mary's baby daddy of jesus and joseph is the stepfather who raised him. if you take out the religious aspect it sounds like an episode of maury povich. lol
