I'm Agnostic. My lack of religion gives me no reason to hate myself or anyone else. I am responsible for my own destiny and I like it better than way.

I was raised Catholic, but I am not a practicing Catholic, I still like the Catholic religion, because I was taught well! I am thoughly disgusted with some of the priests who have molested children and the church covering it up! Mainly that one bishop who thought he should not have to resign, knowing what he did about the priests! How can some be like that,is beyond me! I guess there is good and bad in every religion!

Because it gives me a fulfillment in life that no other religion ever could do. Being connected to the Gods who are as close to you as blood-kin, following a Lore that teaches you to be strong and independent, honoring your ancestors and the heroes of before, that is Asatru for me.
It gives me strength in daily life, it gives me hope that there are actually Gods that care, and that stand with you if times are hard.
Asatru is the only religion that doesn't clash with the modern day scientific view on the world, it views the world as it is, a natural place, with many Gods

I know I am where I need to be without a doubt. The Christ revealed Himself to me while I was a devout Heathen (Long time member of the Ring of Troth, layperson with Theodish rice and friend of the Ealdriht). I was for real Heathen, not a dabbler. The great thing about it is that I can literally feel the truth and the love of God. The gods of Aesir and Vanir never provided that for me. I am right with the one true Creator God and its awesome! I am beyond thankful.
Blessings!

Let us start by saying that all religions start with a belief that there is a creator who created everything.
The articles of my faith Islam (that makes me a Muslim) are simple, logical and applicable to every moment of my life. There is nothing in my faith that is pushed on me which my personal logical reasoning will resist but I have to accept it as part of the faith.

I like my lack of religion because I can think for myself without having some priest or ancient book tell me how to live.

Wicca celebrates people and the earth--it is nonjudgemental and loving and focuses on making the world a better place in our own lifetimes, the rewards of which are indescribable when you finally do succeed in some small way

I like being Catholic. The Catholic Church is an aesthetic church, with beautiful art and ritual. I was raised in a very strict Catholic home, and learned morality and devotion to Christ. I have attended many different religious services, but have chosen to remain Catholic because no other church makes me feel so spiritually aware and close to God.

I like my lack of belief because I get to think for myself without being told what I can and can't do or what I can and can't think by a book.

Atheism is the only logical choice for me. I know in my heart I was not born evil or with original sin. I have no threat of hell. I have my own moral code. I have no fear of death nor do I have to follow blindly along behind a 2000 year old book that has pretty much lost all meaning.
