AND YOU KNOW IT
jesus is santa clause

In the Bible it says that our bodies won't be resurrected from the dead until Jesus's second coming. At this time our bodies will rise and fly into heaven with Jesus at which time we have our Final Judgement in front of God. After our Final Judgement God will make a new earth that we will live on forever in our new resurrected bodies. My concern is what happens in the meantime after we die? I thought as soon as we die our souls/spirits immediately go to heaven to be judged and to be with God and the deceased in heaven but the Bible is saying we don't resurrect immediately after we die-that we have to wait for the second coming. Or is it that our spirits/souls immediately go to heaven when we die and our bodies are resurrected later during Jesus's second coming? I don't like the thought of being dead in the grave waiting thousands of years until Jesus's second coming to be alive again. Can anybody clear up this confusion for me? Bible quotes would be helpful.

(Muslims only please) I think I have clinical depression and want to try to take an anti depression medication. My husband said, " If you think a pill help at all, then you are basically saying Allah is not sufficient." What do you think?

But what would happen if Christians stopped lying to their kids about Santa? Would they lose interest in Christmas?

Then We made the sperm into a clot of congealed blood; then of that clot We made a (foetus) lump; then we made out of that lump bones and clothed the bones with flesh; then we developed out of it another creature. So blessed be Allah, THE BEST OF CREATORS!

These people cannot see anything good - they're always trying to find ways to put down christianity, something that they don't have any clue of what is all about

people make fun of Jesus, and say horrible things about him!!
I believe they cannot say anything good, because their minds are full of darkness.

I want to, in essence, dedicate my son to the Lord, kind of like a Christening, I guess. I want opinions on what you all think is the most fitting ceremony to do this following Full Gospel beliefs. Any Scriptural reference would be most helpful, and I welcome counterpoints with reference, so long as they are kept civil and not rude or disparaging in any way. Any inapporpriate replies (vulgarity, spite, rudeness, etc.) WILL BE REPORTED!!!!! Likewise, I will choose a best answer. Thanks!

Why, when I ask "If you believe Adam and Eve existed, what color do you believe they were?" do half the responders demand "Why does it matter?!" like I'm some sort of Aryan Nazi Princess?

I don't *care* what color Adam and Eve were, primarily because I don't believe they existed. The reason I asked is because I'm curious as to how the literalist Christians reconcile a rainbow's worth of races with the idea that we all came from two people. (Kudos, by the way, to the clever girl who said they didn't need to be both the same color. I hadn't thought of that.)

I honestly believe that it's gotten to the point where you can't even *mention* race, color, or nationality without everyone leaping up and down on you. It's frustrating. Anyway, thank you for reading this rant. Peace out! :-p

Quite a lot of things are listed as sins in the OT of the bible, yet the majority of them have been declared as "No longer applicable" for one reason or another. Is God okay with this? Does he give us the right to declare other things as no longer applicable? Are we each held accountable individually for the things we consider sins and not?

I can't go back onto my own question. My school just blocked it.

However, http://biblegateway.com is accessible.

Yet, I still cannot go onto my desired website. And it's ticking me off.

The reason I want to go on, by the way, is because A) It's a form of studying, B) I have no upcoming tests, C) In NYC you're allowed to go online to do what you want, D) I have nothing to study for, and E) It's one of my 3 free periods.

... could I get some votes on why I should go complain or not? I really think I should, but, I want to make sure...

from what i have understood of your faith , trinity is something important , and every christian must believe in it . I have just posted a question about trinity , and ppl have given me different answers in the way they understand the trinity . a lot of christians claim that Jesus chris is the son of god and God himself . and in the bible there a lot of verses which talks about the father . if Jesus the son and the father at the same time , why did he pray to the father 'Jesus prayed to his Father in the words of Psalm 31:5: '
'Father, into your hands I commend my spirit” (Lk 23:46). '

if he is a part of the trinity which means he is a God .. why did he ask the father to forgive '' Luke 23: 34 - Jesus said, "Father forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing." he could've forgiven them without asking the father , isnt he a part of trinity which means he is a part of what forms God .

please post your answer .. no hate and no racism,

to forget about our fears would only recreate them, to remember them creates our current state....what can we really do right now to help ourselves just love...am i loveing my children when i drive my car to work to make money to support them when the very gas i need and the time spent away from them leaves me feeling very out of control of the very reason i was born, to help resurect the undersrtanding of oneness, i love everyone, but i feel like i am cosistently being drained of all my energy, i refill with my faith in life itself but am unsure how many people are struggling with the same situation, can we bridge our desires together and become free of our fears?

I only ask because a lot of people like to say "white" and I have to think that if I were a God, and if I were creating a race of people meant to live outside without clothes and sunblock, I'd make them dark or olive skinned so they wouldn't sunburn as easily.

Also, where do you think the different colors came from? Were the genes inside Adam and Eve waiting to come out when certain groups started inbreeding, or were the races endowed by God at a later point? I'm curious.

P.S. If you don't believe in Adam and Eve, I guess you can answer, but I don't see much of a point. But, hey, it brings you two points closer to your Lear Jet, right?
