These people cannot see anything good - they're always trying to find ways to put down christianity, something that they don't have any clue of what is all about

people make fun of Jesus, and say horrible things about him!!
I believe they cannot say anything good, because their minds are full of darkness.

People who don't know God are in darkness, like we were at one time. Jesus can set any man free if he is willing to accept the sacrifice and love and forgiveness of Christ. This is a wonderful free gift for all mankind.

You need to take things less seriously. People make jokes all the time and you, by writing this question, are playing right into their hands. They want to upset you and you fell for it. Just ignore the pinheads.

How do you know that these jerks are atheists and agnostics? They might be Christian, just like you. The only difference is they have a (sick) sense of humor and you don't. Maybe you take things too seriously. I'm sure Jesus had a sense of humor. He must of cracked some jokes and made people laugh. Lighten up.

Generalizing again I see.... I don't search for bad things about God... but I will be one of the first to point out a person claiming to follow a Loving, Merciful God and treating people like ****.

And I rarely see anything good coming from you... so should I assume that all most "Believers" do is whine about us Nons?

It's clear from your question that I, and most other atheists, understand your beliefs far far better than you understand our viewpoints.

Like many atheists, I was raised in the church. I attended EVERY Sunday from the age of three weeks until I was 26. When I graduated from university, I was asked to give one of the readings at the Baccalaureate service. I even attended seminary in pursuit of ministerial ordination.

To this day, I continue to argue for the benefits and importance of religious community. While my theological study and experience has brought me to a place where my most honest answer is atheism, I still believe in people and what can happen when we choose to treat each other with respect and compassion.

Mind full of darkness? Please. Someone not agreeing with you does not equal a mind full of darkness, or an inability to see anything good. Why don't you ask atheists and non believers what is good in their lives? Hmmm?

I used to be a Christian by the way, and I do know what it's about. I just don't believe in it.

Dreamstuff Entity has lots of factors approximately why some Atheists would evaluate themselves better than religious human beings. i can not relatively think of of from now on... i don't think of i'm above everybody. Religions do have their stable factors (customarily the final take care of others as you may elect to be taken care of undertaking...) however the entire religious war undertaking reasons themes.... think of what proportion human conflicts would have been prevented if faith did not exist...

Atheists and non-believers do not believe that gods exist. It is therefore logically inconsistent to say that they "try to find bad things about God."

It would be much the same as if you were to be accused of spending your time trying to find bad things about Santa Claus.

They just don't have the same system of beliefs as you do. Accept that they do not believe in a God. So people trying to convert them is actually quite offensive. Try to see their side as well.

God is mind control. God is a shared hallucination. Which man made up this ''god''? The idea of ''god'' is'nt as old as the Earth, that is, it was made up some time later, making it a load of mumbo-jumbo, it's arrogant to think this ''god'' -that we made up, created the Universe, the Universe is a big place you know. RELIGIOUS NUT CASE'S, -there everywhere.

People who truly believe that God doesn't exist cannot find bad things to say about Him.
