Nobody in our world can answer this question. Everybody is absolutley sure they are right, even though they know full well they are basing their firm opinions on nothing more then idea's and theories, and the only correct answers here are 'I don't know'.
Even if science is correct and evolution becomes factual, does that mean for certain a god didn't get the ball rolling in the first place, evolution being part of the great scheme? Am I nuts to think both might be possible?

people build barriers on this simply cuz they want an argument. I don tbeleieve in evolution because of scientific facts not faith. If evolution were real, i would say that would be a product of intelligent design. facts are not conclusions made up in someones head. Everyone tells me its not possible for christians to accept evolution. Thats bullshit and it shoves words into the bibles mouth. the only reason its not possible is because the cool guy didnt think so and the athiest community feeds on that. but yeah evoution would without doubt be a product of intelligent design

I believe in "ID". I'm a Christian, but dont jump to conclusions and say that I'm brainwashed and have followed my religon. ID makes sense. Now, obviously, before so called "evolution" had to happen, the Big Bang happened. Why I dont believe in the Big Bang is this: Go outside. Get some boards, a hammer and some nails. Throw them in the air. What happens? Nothing. They land in a pile, and didnt make a house/shed/whatever you wanted to make. With ID, there was a God who made the universe and the things that are in it. As for the whole evolution thing, that COULD have happened as well. But, we don't know if it happend. In science theres three stages: hypothesis, Theroy, and Scientic Law, which makes it a fact. Evolution is a theroy, with some evidence that shows it COULD have happened. But tell me, when something evolves from something, what happens to the thing it evolved from? That thing is no more. If we truly evolved from apes, why are they still here? Now, back to ID. You'll counter what I've said with "O, but where did God come from?" I say "I don't know. I didn't create him, nor did man." I have no idea where he came from, but still, ID is much more believable then evolution/big bang. I know this is kind of confusing, but I hope it answers your question.

Evolution, of course, and I have proved it. (Details on request.) Even without specific proof, evolution has been established science for a century, because it makes correct predictions about the way the world works. "Intelligent design", by contrast, can predict nothiing; even if the idea were true, it could predict nothing and would thus be totally useless.

evolution (i think) is a fact. i believe the actual debate is wether there's a god or not. you'll notce that evolution used to be taught at schools (or high schols or whatever) while intelligent design was left to the churches
