You might recall several years ago when the LA Lakers and Spurs were playing in a playoff basketball game. There was 0.4 seconds left in the game, and the Lakers were down by 1. I prayed deeply for the first time in life. Guess what? After a couple of timeouts taken, Derek Fisher won the game with a turnaround jumper. Is that enough crazy evidence that God exists? He has done many other great things for me, none like that instant.

I live in a very christian town and I constantly bombarded by people who tell me I will go to hell because I am wiccan. I just want to know if I really will go to hell. I think I am good person, I do good deeds and I really care about people who need my help. I don't think that I will go to hell because I don't believe in it. I was raised to be a baptist but I always felt uncomfortable in a church. It is not the place for me. Blessed be...

It's pretty common to see a Christian say "Most Atheists aren't really Atheists, they're Agnostics". That's not likely more accurate and definitely no more appropriate than telling a Christian they probably aren't really Christians but Gnostics. With that in mind, let me make a suggestion to Christians on the matter. It may go against your Christian ideals, but you should try treating others like you would like them to treat you.

Did you ever give it thought.... that you may be putting yourself in harms way for eternally? And what hurt does it cause to believe in Jesus God, they are Good.

I am just thinking of saving souls, no matter who you are, you have the free will to make that choice...... have a nice night!

...if I can get backing music to christian music such as Geoff Bullock, Hillsong or Michael W Smith?

I am possibly going to be a teen leader at my church and I might not be able to get a pianist to play for us. So if I could get the backing music plus some lyric books that would be great!

I was looking for some introductory studies on Buddhism and someone recommended SGI to me. I have asked a question previously about this organization, and the more I read about it the more confused I get.

Why is SGI considered a cult by many? I keep reading that they study very little on Buddhism, but rather just the writings of their President (Ikeda?)... is there truth to this?

Buddhists in general, do you consider yourself agnostic since there is no belief in one god?

This is merely an educational curiosity for me. I'm not looking for conversion, just information. Thanks!

there is only one reality, we all are in it, and it doesn't matter what a person believes? The same reality exists for us all, it is a shared experience; shouldn't this be the foundation of any religious/rational/logical/ sane person's view? This is what makes us all the same; so what difference does it make what you "believe" if we are all part of the same thing? Is it that hard to accept someone's beliefs as being different; and just as "right" as your own?
