Some religions generally prefer advising constant prayer -- not education. Some may lose sleep over their religion. Overdone, this may cause brain damage.

Try not to do it too much.

How would you pray?? What procedures would you follow?? What are the permitted or prohibited prayers, actions, foods, and almost everything one can face in his life...
For this purpose there must be a protocol in which you have to stay and follow it strictly.. .
Dear asker God gave us His prophets as we needed Moses, Jesus, Abraham and many more approximately one hundred and twenty four thousand prophets were sent to this world. Moses (pbuh) came and asked people to worship only one GOD so did jesus (pbuh), abraham (pbuh) and all others. Then God sent Muhammad (pbuh) as a last messenger and gave him the previlige of spreading the true word of GOD.
Dear asker the best way to pray is a muslim way. please visit

You cannot pray to angels as
To be Muslim is to be in submission and obedience to God. He is the one God who has no partner. Nothing is like Him. He is the Creator, not the created, nor a part of His creation. He is All-Powerful, absolutely Just, All-Knowing, All-Merciful, the Supreme, the Sovereign. There is no entity worthy of worship besides Him.

No, you do not need to have a 'religion' in order to pray. Your relationship with your God (whomever that may be), is personal. What you believe in your heart, your God knows. Religions are man made interpretations of the bible. People believe how they believe, and no one has any right to tell them whether they are right or wrong.

You pray however you choose. It's your decision.

Who is going to listen to your prayer? It sounds to me like you're doing nothing more than wishing.

A Christian has Jesus, a Jew has Yahweh, A Muslim has Allah, all personal entities that they can talk to.

If you believe that there is a God, (it's a good start), then you have to determine who that God is. You have to search. I'm a Christian, so I'm going to tell you that God is the trinity of God the Father, God the Son (Jesus) and God the Holy Ghost. Others would instruct you differently, but you have to choose.

I'll add one thing, a plug for Jesus..... Christianity differs from all other religions in one major way; we don't believe that we can do anything to get into heaven. All other religions stress that you must do STUFF to get into heaven. Work, you gotta work. Jesus told us that it doesn't matter, we're all filthy in the eyes of God and we can't work hard enough to get to heaven. But he paid the price for us, because only he could.

I'll leave it there.

Good luck in your seeking my friend. I hope you find the truth.

You don't have to belong to religious group to pray. In fact God loves when you pray, it makes His day. But remember that God not always give us what we asking, because we may asking for selfish motives, or because it may harm us in a way we may not see, or understand at first. So pray to God, talk to Him, He has a great plan for your life. Seek God, depend on God, and love God.

You don't have to believe in any particular God to pray. You have some sort of "higher power", so pray to it.

Here's an idea as well... when you pray, take some time to listen. When you talk to someone on the phone, it's worth it to give equal time listening.... try doing the same when you pray. You might just be intrigued with what you hear.

You don't need a religion but you need a relationship with God. To have a relationship with God you better learn who He is and what He is like otherwise who are you praying to?

Absolutely not. You have the free will to pray to Whoever or Whatever you like, without being bound by religious doctrine.

The nice thing is this, if you are not attached to any specific religion you can pray to what ever god you choose.
