I do not revel in another person's sin, no matter how much I dislike the person. What was weird, was after the story of Ted Haggard's confession broke in the news, Issues Etc. (kfuo.org) played an old interview that they had with Ted Haggard from a year ago. It was ironic that he claimed that not sinning was so easy.

Feeling sorry is not the emotion I would use to describe my feelings. He has serious problems, that I am glad I do not have; and to make things worse, he is a public figure claiming to be a 'man of God'. That is worse than anything man can do or say.
It is not a new trend. There are always and have always been those who use the Bible for personal gain. (money/power/fame...) I don't find it something to "giggle" about. It is disgusting.

Do I feel sorry for him? Absolutely not. I've held the opinion that the guy is a jerk ever since I saw him in that Richard Dawkins interview. The guy is a hypocrite and a liar. I only feel sorry for the many people out there who were honestly fooled into thinking that he was someone that he clearly is not.

Now there you bypass. there is not some thing incorrect with following the teachings of Christ. It pains me to imagine that there are plenty available that imagine the same. yet what am I as a Christian to anticipate? i will see the hypocrisy basically as obviously because the subsequent man or woman. the flexibility to forgive sin isn't ours basically as damning someone to hell for sinning isn't both. someplace alongside the line we Christians were extra about trust that we've that power. extra fake training or maybe extra human beings too lazy to study the bible and parent what it says for themselves. yet when it makes you experience more beneficial I forgive him. not that what I do makes a huge difference. Have an stunning day.

My thoughts on this matter are that this man as well as the rest of us sinners need forgiveness! I pray that Ted Haggard can find God's forgiveness and that people can also find it in their hearts to forgive him.
Forgiveness does not mean that he should be in ministry!

I feel sorry for his family having such a dick-head. No I don't feel sorry for him after he spent years heaping guilt and shame on GLBT's . .. people who had more courage than him by NOT leading a double life and being honest about who they are, and NOT preaching hypocrisy from the pulpit of all places.

nope, it's not the fact that is gay or having sex with gay men, it's the fact that he is in a position of power and tells people how to live, i bet he told his followers that being gay was a sin and that if you have relations with the same sex, you'll go to hell......
