So, according to Jehovah Witness beliefs... 144 thousand of them will go to Heaven... So, when you come to my door on saturday, and you insist on explaining "the way" to me, I honestly asked.. well are you one of the 144 thousand? The guy looked at me in disgust...

so I continued.. well.. If you can't guarantee Heaven for ALL of your followers (jehovah witnesses) Why would I want that? Wouldn't I want to be a follower of a religion that guarantees EVERYONE that believes the opportunity to be in Heaven?

They grumbled and walked on... I was really looking for an answer....

::shrugs:: Guess they won't knock on my door again...

I find it funny how some of you don't, but you have never, or never will, have come close to suffering from clinical depression. No one can say they have suffered from true diagnosed clinical depression and not thought about killing themselves. These are not thoughts of the person's own, these are thoughts drove into them through an illness that claims many lives every year.

Until you have felt your body eating itself while you are still alive, I think you should back off and show a little compassion, as I saw a girl come in here earlier who was very sick, and all you could do was judge her and push her closer to the edge, some of you people make me sick....

It's just really annoying that they protest and get angry at the use of God in any everyday situation. We don't try and force you to put it on what you have, so don't force us to take it off. I believe that the majority of the USA believes in some form of God and for us to have that ripped away for people who have no beliefs is not very cool. What's it to you, you're just dust in the wind anyway right?

Why does Jesus want to be in three forms. The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit. Why not one form? Three forms seems a little too much.
What are these forms of Jesus?

I don't understand how he must pass the messages through the Popes or Fathers. Why? Why do the job himself and get all serial killers changed into saints?

I'm a religious studies student, and so far, EVERY religion I have ever studied calls itself "Not a religion, but a way of life." How can EVERY religion NOT be a religion?

LOL.

Can't we just all agree that religions are also ways of life?

Did you see the Virgin Dragon Lizard ? According to the news it " impreganted itelf " and has 7 babies in its womb.God did it without a male.

God is never bound to the " science " of man. He leaps across it ANYTIME HE WANTS. He also wrapped Himself in flesh in Marys womb. He can do anything.... Jesus is God and he as He said in His Word is showing signs EVEN IN HIS CREATURES of what He did to save us in the human mother.

The Mahabharata in the Hindu scriptures talks of the war for truth, the war between "good" and "evil". The war is really really representative of man's quest for TRUTH, of a reality that transcends social, intellectual conditioning. It bares the real nature of realtionships, that are only to serve human needs from time to time. It is this laying bare of the harsh truth that is feared to create a confusion in the mind of the ordinary man, who believes the world he lives in and the rules he lives by are the truth, but is disillusioned. An internal war, a struggle ensues, till he realizes the truth about himself, his relationships and his beliefs about the world. It is this war that will lead him to realize the truth, the simple but harsh reality. This is the war, the war for truth, which has been so literally misinterpreted the world over as a religious war. Wake up world!

As I read the bible, I find it hard to read old testiment because it seems like God is going to punish, condemn, or something. I find it difficult to read and understand. When I read new testiment, it seems so easy to understand with lots of love than harsh punishment. I want to read the entire bible, but I find it too harsh to have this thinking about God is harsh and discipline which it is hard to picture that God is love. Can you explain better for me to understand. How can I read the bible and understand better?

I mean no disrespect, however, think about it. A burning bush that talks, a major body of water separates, a guy that feeds the masses with one fish and a lof of bread, he also walks on water and when he dies he comes back to life. Again, no disrespect, just something to think about.
