sree: You are right ... God does not go by any religion but by relationship with individual human beings. Religion causes fighting and resentment; whereas, relationship promotes love towards both, God and man. A HUGE difference !!!

I kind of don't understand your question , and I kind of do. Some religions have done great harm, in fact the ones that have done the most harm are the one that are most prevalent in the present.
I honestly don;t think any of those will be very happy when we find out that God doesn't go by any religion. Those of us who are free thinkers like the pagans, and the new agers and the wiccans, and so on, will be the happiest.....because we already know that God doesn't go by any religion.

Most evil things done in the name of religion, weren't of God. The true church of God has been used badly by bad people who have done bad things. Don't blame it on God or the Church blame it on those who have misused this in the name of self-interest, greed, power, etc... Call it the Devil if you want, it is just pure evil nature.

in Islam, God teaches you how to respect other religions. It does not matter if your classmates are of different beliefs, but we have all got to be friends..
