Same way you can be certain (if you are), that there isn't.

For me, it comes down to subjective evidence in what has happened in my life. It was a mess. I decided to take my faith seriously, and it changed. Pragmatism would say that that is evidence enough.

Other than that is the subjective feelings I have when I practice ritual. It might be psychological. It might be hallucination. It might be aspects of my very real mental illness playing games inside my head. The truth is though, that people have had spiritual experiences, likely since we had brains large enough to do so, throughout recorded history, and possibly beyond.

Awe, the numinous, the unexplained, past life memories, the collective unconscious... whatever. It's real enough for me to believe, and, in the absence of any evidence to the contrary, the scale tips toward the spiritual; at least for me.

To disbelieve in the supernatural. one has to discount whatever anyone else has for subjective proof, and weigh it against nothing. Occam's razor is commonly used, but you really need to look at what's on each side. On the side of Deism or spirituality there is at least subjective evidence, and if you wish to explore some somewhat more than anecdotal evidence of past life experiences. On the side of atheism, the only "evidence" is a certain "lack of necessity" of a God for physical phenomenon.

I'm not saying that it's bad to be an atheist. I'm not saying it's preferable to be a deist. I'm simply stating that each will find their own evidence or place. Convincing either to switch based on hard evidence is impossible because it doesn't exist. So, perhaps it's just best to believe what you do and allow others to do the same undisturbed.

How can you carnall minded people say that there is no God. I believe then you appear to be all knowing. I guess you were back in the time of creation then, saw all of it up to now. I shouldnt be writing this because i am a believer in God, and have no higher intelligence like you atheists, who believe we live on earth and thats it, your dead finished , game over. It amazes me that you carnal minded fools deny an existance of a God out of pure denial, or because he was not there at a certian time, or he let my familly member die, etc,. You limit your minds to the possibility to God . Grow up a little folks, turn on that light buld in your dark clouded minds and wake up. You or Darwin, nor Einstein was nowhere near the creation of the whole universe. It takes more intelligence to know that there is a God. But oh wait i digress, you all know everything. I do hope you and every other atheists realize that you are only agnostic, you cannot declare to be atheist because to do that is to have all knowledge like i said to everything, and that you would know the names off all the stars, the hair on every mamal, the reason why our elements exist. So forgive me to bring myself to your exhalted level. I pray however, you get over your pride or whatever hinders you from crying out to the Lord, and cry out for mercy. Even a fool knows that things are different in the world, and it is growing darker, and it takes discernment from God to realise there is not much time left for man, for all shall die, or live, and still see the white throne in the end. Will you still then be aragont and say there is no God, and remain on the Left hand of God, or will you find the mercy of God before the Judgment. That is up to you. Remember one thing though, remember always that when you are alive , and even after death you were warned about the comming of the Lord. Just remember it ... i know you will

You cant be certain. You can only have faith and belief. You will read answers under me quoting the bible (which doesn't prove a thing!), and you will see people saying god put us here how can you explain it otherwise? (science has proven evolution to be a fact). But you cant be certain that there is NOT a god either. Its all based upon your belief. Know that living in a free country, you can choose whatever you want. Don't listen to other humans who tell you, that you will go to hell if you don't believe. That is a sick statement made by hate monger's.

You can't.

I have a story that's meant to illustrate what Faith is about. In a circus there is this great tightrope walker who did all kinds of stunts and was very popular. Everybody believed in him. They say he can do anything on a tightrope. One of his favorite acts is he walks a trightrope while balancing on top of a barrel.

Then one day he asked a volunteer who would enter the barrel while he performs. No one dared.

That is faith. And if there is a God, then apparently what he wants is that if you will believe in him, you have to trust him first. You have to put yourself at risk.

Because God is so certain of me that God continually touches my life and came as Jesus to save me.

Rom 1:19-20

19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.

20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:

no one can be certain, but christians will tell you that they can feel him in their "hearts"
I think that if he is real, i think that he made it so no one could tell for certain because then you would know for sure that if you believed he existed and followed his commands you go to heaven.
If you don't know for sure that god exists, then it is more noble to serve him in that circumstance because if you follow god and are a good human being without knowing for sure that you were notfollowing a myth, then you care more about being good for the sake of being good and not just to get yourself to heaven

I went to the wild and found 4 stones stacked over each other, Eureka i found ruins of a civilization.
I went to Jungle and found fire in bush, well, sun rays caused that fire.
I came to know that the whole universe is in One Order, a system, physics, chemistry, light, velocity, blah, blah, blah... and am i still confused that it happened by chance?

Faith. That's the whole purpose of Him not showing himself to everyone. You either believe or you don't. There are things that happen in this world that are wonderful and unexplainable...miracles. They're around you every day and you just get a feeling and you "know". The closest I can come to explaining it is love. You love your family, friends an perhaps a significant other...but why? You just do. You just have that feeling. You just know.
