My friend is a medium, she gives readings on Kasamba. Everyday pastors and old boyfriends alike think about her and she feels the blunt of those attacks through her intuitve behavior. She is doing everything in her power to block those attacks. But as her best friend how can I help her handle those attacks and possible help her block them?

What are you doing and what can be done by you to sway extremist muslims away from the atrocities that they commit in their own countries as well as in the west?

You often say that it's unfair to put all Muslims into a group. That's a fair enough statement. But don't you have some responsibility to your religion and to your God and to your Muslim brothers to try to put a stop to some of this madness?

Wafa Sultan says that when Kurds and Shiites were being persecuted in Iraq that no Muslims stood up to condemn it.

What are your thoughts?

A common pursuit among people in this day and age may well be the pursuit of happiness. Are people forgetting more important issues? Is there much false spirituality in the lives of people today? Would people be better off thinking more about their own mortality and ultimate deaths than they are? What can you say about this?

to Muhammad instead to the Pope, so that the Pope at that time could fix the error. Why would GOD hand the Koran to Muhammad to fix it when he is not a jews not even a Christian. Doesn't make sense. Why would GOD Choose a person that doesn't know anything about the Holy Bible.

i would rather belive in god, that jesus can save me from hell and find out i was wrong than to say there is no god and find out i was wrong.it`s better a fool act as if he is a wise man than awise man to act like a fool.and if you athist do`nt belive in god why do you wory so much about going to hell.i think you could be lieing to yourselves.i choose to be a fool that acts like a wise man just in case.

"My colleague has said that he never offends other people's beliefs. What civilization on the face of this earth allows him to call other people by names that they did not choose for themselves? Once, he calls them Ahl Al-Dhimma, another time he calls them the "People of the Book," and yet another time he compares them to apes and pigs, or he calls the Christians "those who incur Allah's wrath." Who told you that they are "People of the Book"? They are not the People of the Book, they are people of many books. All the useful scientific books that you have today are theirs, the fruit of their free and creative thinking. What gives you the right to call them "those who incur Allah's wrath," or "those who have gone astray," and then come here and say that your religion commands you to refrain from offending the beliefs of others?"

Actually, I am not asking this. I am telling this :) God does elect people to salvation (2 Thess. 2:13). And if raise the objection, "that's not fair," I suggest you read Romans 9. If anyone would like to have a discussion on this, PLEASE email me at nathan_duffey@yahoo.com

I would love to have an email debate over the topic of Calvinism :)

I am not mocking anyone here. Just curious is all. If Jesus was killed before being put on the cross. What would happen in the future? What would happen if we evolved enough to build a time machine (since the math is there and is only a matter of time) to go back in time and kill jesus before his righteous death?

You wrote that the Christians and the Jews jettisoned the bad teachings of their holy books and now their books are sanitized. Actually they haven’t. Their holy books still contain a lot of nonsense. However what they did is they decided that those so-called holy books are not the textual words of God but rather written by men who were inspired by God. This makes a world of difference, because it allows them not to take what is obviously outrageous too seriously. There is always an element of human error. That is why they have become tolerant. But unfortunately this possibility does not exist with the Quran. Quran claims to be the verbatim word of Islam’s deity, Allah and therefore no alteration is possible.

Also the NT does not have much violence. It is actually a book that teaches non-violence. The OT contains many stories of violence perpetrated by Moses and Joshua. But those are stories. Apart from the fact that these personages are more mythological than real and what is attr

what if somehow somebody managed to get some DNA from Jesus from let's say the holly mantle (is that how it was called?) and that it was meant to be that the second Coming of Jesus Christ would be as a clone
also as a second question, am i blasfemous for wondering this sort of thing, no, the Lord gave us the gift of creativity and pondering, and no one truly knows how things are meant to be until they happen, so it's just a very real possibility

God is perfect, therefore every star in the sky was placed with perfect precision exactly where it was meant to be. So what significance does the placement of the stars have if it's not to do with astrology.
This was not meant to be a religious debate, just act like god exists if your and athiest, and make a hypothesis.

Please give with your answer an explaination in your own words and source along with your religion (if you have a religious affiliation). For example, if you give a scripture verse as an answer, please give your own inturpretation of that scripture in common terms. For atheists, please so state and give reference for your definition.

The Iglesia ni Cristo of the Philippines has a Thanksgiving (around Christmas time, to replace Christmas, and not to be confused with the US Thanksgiving holiday) and claims that "Thanksgiving" is mentioned in the Bible. Is this true? Is a Thanksgiving really mentioned in the Bible or is it more likely that the Iglesia ni Cristo just invented Thanksgiving to discourage members from celebrating Christmas?
