Atheist Revolution - So, if I believed say in a cure for cancer, would that be faith to you as well? If I said, "I believe there is a cure for cancer", when there is obviously no cure for cancer then that would be Faith, right?

i don't think it could be defined, because to provide it a definition may make it into some thing, it is the different of no longer some thing. after I examine the observe "nothingness" what I see in my ideas is this: The hum of the universe fading to quietness--no longer by means of the undeniable fact that is quiet, yet because each and everything interior ones self is attuned with it (type of like a scent will flow away right away because you get used to it.) Then, out of the stillness, there is nothingness. *shrug*

Trust that every thing will work out al right,I believe God is in us doing his magic,he, being the conscious voice that guides us in the right direction.I believe or have faith that the human scull is too small to contain all the wisdom so it resides also in space and time giving us what we need if we truly listen

Faith is the one which does not need repeated repairs, once after forming.

Faith on the lord should able to establish faith on the self

True Faith in not just the mere result of 'logical' analysis or 'blind belief' or ... its the result of 'experience' and 'realization'

When one strongly & firmly believes in something or someone, I assume that it means that one has undisputed faith in that particular thing or particular person.

Whether it be for a religion, a cause, a belief or another human being.

I'm an Aetheist, my understanding of FAITH is that it is the willingness of a person to believe that something exists, without having any proof that it exists.
