Yes of course I feel sad when anyone dies.

Well it depends on what kind of life they led I guess.
I do believe we are all struggling with our own selfishness, an internal fight between good or evil.
So.. if that person tried to lead a good life against the draws of extreme selfishness, I would not worry for them.
If they did not, then sad indeed, as bad things could await them in the afterlife.

Yes, very sad for the fact that the atheist never believed in God and never accepted Jesus, and now the atheist will have to face an eternity in hell.

i dont lable people for what they believe.
if i knew the person as a friend, i would grieve their death as a friend would.
if i did not know them, but knew of their death, i would show sarrow for a life which has died, but not grieve, for everyone dies eventually.
i do not feel sad on peoples choices in life when they pass, rather they forsake religion or not. its their choice, to feel sad on that is like shaming them on a choice they choose.

of course. a person died, maybe they left people behind. it doesnt matter if they are atheist or anything. religion has nothing to do with it. this person was someone and they are now gone. that makes me sad.

Nope, Heaven is open to all, not just the version of christianity that relies solely on revelation . Jesus said so! Don't believe me? read the parable of the good samaritan

Of course we would because just because you are dead your soul still goes to heaven or hell and that is what we are more concerned about.
