I'm interested in learning more about meditation but I find it challenging to practice meditation at home as there is never any silence to take advantage of. By the time everyone is quiet and in bed, i'm exhausted and end up going to bed too. I find background noise distracting but I'm wondering if silence is required for meditation. Can a person eventually master the art of meditation to the point where silence is not necessary? If anyone meditates seriously and regularly, I would be interested in talking to you about it.

I am so astonished that people honestly believe whole heartedly that the holocaust is just a myth, or an embellished story. how could that be? why on earth would people deny that something so tragic took place? some people say the holocaust is just a jewish sob story. it upsets me to hear that. why do people think this? if you dont believe the holocaust happened, then could you explain to me why you believe this??

Since God places the soul into the fetus at the moment of conception, making it a Human and if freezing a Human being solid kills it, releasing the soul from the body, am I an abomination because I now live without a soul, and am I doomed to the fires of hell, or am I exempt from that too because I have no soul?

Many atheists complain that Christians "push" their beliefs on people. An Evangilist is an eunthuastic advocate. Christians are just sharing the Word and Hope of God.

Would atheists be happy if this were not allowed?

I often wonder, how exactly did jesus just come back from the dead? also why would people drink wine to symbolize the blood of jesus? it seems pretty zombie/vampiric to me. I dont mean to offend people, im just curious....

ie Everything that has gone wrong in life God is blamed for it.Instead of asking for help in life's situations that we do to ourselves, our choices mostly bad we blame Him.Do you think its our human condition? And we forget HE gave us free will.We dont like what the church does so we see God in distortion. We are people trying desperatly to know God and trust HIS words to us.

Rats, fleas, mosquitoes, flies, tapeworms, hookworms?

I know there is an argument that says these things are part of a food chain, but why create the negative characteristics that go along with them? No reason for fleas and mosquitoes to bite us, or for tapeworms or hookworms to get in us, etc.

Why create the negative characteristics that go along with each of these creatures? They were created before humans, before sin, according to the bible.
