I don't picture him. There's no point. I could never picture something that great however hard I tried. I just know (or hope is a better word) that he is listening. He is a part of everything. So if I pray when can see the sun, I see him as the sun, if i pray when I can see the moon, I see him as the moon...but he is greater then everything...

Like some Big Old guy with a white beard in the sky..that knows everything and directs traffic here on earth,and moves chess pieces around to keep life in order.

I don't use visualisation when I pray. I just pray as if I'm on a CB radio. errrrrrrrm cept I don't say 'breaker one nine for a copy' I just say Father God or Jesus.

If I am talking to Jesus I see him as a Jewish man with a beard and long hair in a long white robe with a type of stole over it and sandals. If I pray to God, I see nothing visually. He is Spirit and I pray to him in spirit.

How about instead of filling the mind with a picture...you just see space and colour and 'feel' the prayer.

good question. I normally think of some big energy ball like the sun and sometimes I just think of God's beautiful creations or I have a record playing in my head.
