Some people on here ask dumb questions!!!

I think that you don't know God. He is love and not hate. How come that He sends somebody to kill someone in His name? That is just impossible. The problem is that when religious leaders try to dominate some goverment or society they do not care with the lives of the people so all the blood spilled for this will be on their hands. Remember, the Bible says that God will make a judge to every soul on earth and that every knees will bow to declare that Jesus, the king of love is the Lord!

Religions survive as a results of fact persons have self assurance in them. easy as that. the quantity of blood spilt over faith has little or no effect on the believers themselves, however definitely killing each member of a faith can aversely effect that faith. additionally, traditionally speaking, extra blood has no longer been spilt over religions than the different undertaking. evaluate the Crusades, a classic occasion of a "non secular" conflict. could all the deaths of those wars be attributed to faith? no longer often; the impetus for the 1st marketing campaign replaced into basically political maneuvering between Constantinople, which mandatory militia help, and Rome, which replaced into able to offering it. by the Pope calling for an armed pilgrimage to open the holy lands (which were barred to Christian Pilgrims by the Muslim's who had conquered those lands as a results of political climate on the time), he replaced into keeping his very own dominance over the Patriarch of Constantinople, and positively over the Emperor besides. faith replaced right into a gadget of the 1st marketing campaign, inspite of the undeniable fact that it replaced into no longer the reason. Likewise, evaluate the Albigensian marketing campaign, which replaced into often a ploy by the French Crown to enhance its territory. Or evaluate the Athenians and the Sicilian excursion. The political government of Athens desperate to deliver troops to Sicily, at which element they sought the blessing of their monks. the classic Greeks formulated plans politically first and then sought non secular advice on if those plans might prevail or no longer. certainly, consequently faith could functionality a examine on the excesses of political government.

No. The innocent blood will be on the hands of those who lied and twisted religion into whatever they needed it to be in order to lend acceptibility to the unacceptible. And I am sorry about your condition due to my question....all I can say is perhaps you should have done both of us a favor and simply skipped it and move on.

Flaws in this statement....Religion is a manmade concept. Blind Faith is about human behaviour not God. So if God is to blame, perhaps it is just for creation of human beings with free will?

This god creature seems to enjoy getting blood on it's hands. Noah's flood, the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah, and any number of instances listed in the Bible illustrate this, which can lead to only one conclusion. It seems that this god creature is so vain and vindictive that if you do not stroke it's ego by worshiping it in a highly proscribed manner, it tortures you for eternity in everlasting fire. Now that sounds like a highly disturbed creature that is hardly worthy of worship or respect.

The blood is on the hands of those who use peoples willingness to follow blindly for their own agendas, as well as those who did the killing.

"I was just following orders" just means, "I'm guilty too". People have free will whether they choose to use it or not.

No. Ultimately, it's been mankind's choice. I guess it could be God's "fault" for giving us free will, but we're the ones that make the decisions.

John 3:1-21 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.

16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.

20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.

21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.

No. And although He started this He did not start it in the imperfections you now see in the world. This was Adam and Eve's sin.
