The body of christ was divine, and in Old Testament times symbolism was everything...so wine(or grapejuice) symbolises the blood of christ, and washes away our sind. He dies for us, so we remember that death in that way. Jesus came back to life because that was Gods devine plan, to have Jesus die for our sins, so we may live forever, ie- go to heaven. See the most famous part of any bible John 3:16...For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotton son...

It is a bit goth, but the blood symbolises the holy spirit which is in the red wine. the life is in the blood. by drinking this the holy spirit comes to you, Jesus received it like a dove and gave the holy spirit. In the mystery, the soul is said to be reborn. Jesus was seen by Mary and she told the other disciples, and he ascended into heaven

Christianity is just a cult of death/the dead. Most religions honor/worship a Deity, Christians worship a man nailed to a cross, and ignore the word(s) of god. They are so enthralled with this man on the cross that they even elevated him to godhood.

Yes. It was intended as worship but the symbolism of an olden time tends to have different perspective in the light of current knowledge.

It is morbid and violent. Have you ever read the Old Testament? The stories there could make your hair curl (or straighten if it's already curly.) Have you read the one about dashing babies brains out on the rocks. Pretty gruesome, if you ask me.

Yep. Praying to the graven image (idolatry) of a mutilated human corpse, nailed to a cross (public torture), and then proceeding to pretend to (or literally, according to some Catholics) consume the flesh and blood (ritualistic cannibalism, either way) of the dead man. It doesn't get much more morbid than that.

I'm going to make a point of killing myself and saying that I have done it in the name of atheism.

No, our religion is not morbid.
And no, we don't literally drink Jesus' blood.
Have some respect please. He IS your Messiah.
