What is even more advanced and complex then the entire universe? God? Yet he just is but the universe couldn't just be.
That's why the "nothing can come from nothing" argument of Creationism is so laughably flawed.

In the 1600's we discovered the existence of microorganisms. With new technologies , galaxies appear to be super-sized single celled organisms. The something that "just existed" logically would be a life form. The Singularity that doesn't exist presently.

Yes in way, but your logic is flawed.
You are forgetting life, and thinking of just substance. Is life just a substance that exists? I think not.
You are forgetting spirit. For example the spirit of love. Can love be matter that just exists? I think not.
You are forgetting the Word or words. For example the English language we use to communicate thought/s. Are thoughts any visible object that just exists? I think not.
Does life, spirit, and the Word just exist? I think not.

The universe is very simple.
There are laws, scientific ones if you will.
God just exists.
That much is true.
There is nothing complex but we have made it that way when we moved so far away from God.
Life is simple.
