I know it was really awful that he betrayed Jesus, and he did kill himself, but he killed himself out of remorse, so what do you think?

Praying 5 times a day is giving me dreadfull carpet burns on my head and bacon smells so good when its getting cooked at our local cafe that I really must give it a try.

I know that some of the sects have and some of them haven't. If that is all you have to contribute... you are excused.

I am very interested in dating a man but he's Catholic. I haven't the slightest clue about their practices. I'm not really religious. In fact, I'm just spiritual. What should I know? Is there a "Catholicism for Dummies" book or something I can look at? I really feel like he's the one.

Remember, Jesus was righteous and sinless. Was He different as far as image was/is concerned? He was a different human being with powers and abilities far beyond those mortals beings. What do you think?

I don't mean every little detail, but the general messages and historical facts.

Keep in mind, humans interpret religious doctrines.

Please, no scripture quotes. I want YOUR opinion.

A renowned Zen master said that his greatest teaching was this: Buddha is your own mind. So impressed by how profound this idea was, one monk decided to leave the monastery and retreat to the wilderness to meditate on this insight. There he spent 20 years as a hermit probing the great teaching. One day he met another monk who was traveling through the forest. Quickly the hermit monk learned that the traveler also had studied under the same Zen master. "Please, tell me what you know of the master's greatest teaching." The traveler's eyes lit up, "Ah, the master has been very clear about this. He says that his greatest teaching is this: Buddha is NOT your own mind."

I keep finding questions and answers on here from religious people who are attacking homoesexuals and I don't recall anywhere in the bible where it is said that it's wrong. Call me ignorant if you like but I'd like the quote, and I mean chapter and verse, from the bible where it says it's against God's law to be homosexual.

So let's be clear about this. Anyone who just rants about me or anyone else going to hell shouldn't bother. I want an actual bible reference about this.

Isnt it just arrogant to assume *since it works for me it must work for you too?* People are meant to have thier own ideas and beliefs, why do others want to take that away?

Many Christians worked to build this great country and fight the wars that have kept us free.

Should we take back our Christian heritage and replace the generic cross marking graves and monuments with a cross that shows Christ suffering for all our sins hanging crucified on the cross as it happened in Judea when he was killed by the jews?
