You seem to miss the point that He is the very One, and the only One who will put an end to all this. "And He will judge between the nations, and render decisions for many peoples; And they will hammer their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks, Nation will not lift up sword against nation, and never again will they learn war" (Isaiah 2:4)
May I add Paul's warning: "Take heed therefore, so that the thing spoken of in the Prophets may not come upon you: 'Behold you scoffers, and marvel and perish; for I am accomplishing a work in your days, a work which you will never believe, though someone should describe it to you' " (Acts 13:40,41)

Well first of all...God already knows what is happening in Iraq. We never know when or where he is coming back, but the Bible says he will come back when the world is least ready. And second of all...when he does come back all of the people who have asked Jesus into their hearts will be going to heaven with him. Those who never did will be left behind.
I recommend you watch the series of movies called:
"Left Behind" they explain it in great detail.
Please don't wait till it's too late. Call on Jesus today!

Most people who were waiting for the Messiah didn't recognize him when he came the first time.
What makes you think that we will be any better at recognizing him when he comes again?
When he came before, he walked with the poor and ate with sinners and those the authorities considered worthless. Unless you're in that environment, you probably won't even know he's around.
