Christ is so grand because Christ has nothing to do with all the images that we see in various religions -- there's no sin, guilt, hell, judgement, no 'dying for our sins', no punishment -- just Unconditional Love and what we all really are. It's the nature of the Unmeasurable - That Which Has Always Been, Buddha Nature, the Tao, Ultimate Reality. Once someone touches it -- and doesn't mistake their ego projections and voice for it -- they can never be the same.
