Yes Jesus knew he would betray Him,we have all betrayed him I think. We never want to until after we realize what we have done,I think his remorse was also a contrite heart and broken spirit after the fact.Like all of us after we have betrayed our first love, for my first love is Jesus.I have done and said things out of hate and am repentant. And know I am forgiven, the word is not specific about Judas, but God is specific about his forgiveness and redemption.A person who was pleased with what he did would not have killed himself.I hope he was forgiven at least that's that heart of the God I believe in.

I believe he was, Because when Jesus came back after the resurection, Judas was with him. John 21:20 Judas had a job to do and Jesus knew it. John 17:12 does not name Judas, so we can only speculate.

Jesus referred to him as the "son of perdition", or son of hell or destruction.(John 17:12) The only other one so called in Scripture is Antichrist. Jesus said of Judas: "It would have been good for that man if he had not been born" (Matthew26:24)
So now, what do you think?
But if you need further evidence, read of Judas in Acts 1:15-20 and then read all of Psalm 109, which is quoted therein.

That is a good question.
I am not sure. Suicide is not a forgivable sin. Usual a person who kills themselves are either remorseful, desperate, or something like that. They wouldn't do it, unless something was wrong. God is the only judge who knows.
If he is to be judge on the suicide alone, I don't think he will be there. Suicidal don't enter Heaven. Also, he felt guilt of what he did, but he didn't asked to be forgiven, that is why he killed himself. Probably, he thought that what he did was so awful, it was unforgivable.
May God have mercy on his soul.

No, because to repent, one has to change his or her behavior and try to set things right if they hurt anyone. In the case of Judas, he died before he had time to change his life, and there was no way he can reverse the effects of what he did. Also, suicide is a selfish action - it's feeling sorry for YOURSELF enough to take your own life. Judas did not feel sorry for Christ, but for what HE, Judas, had to look forward to because he betrayed the Son of God.

No. Jesus called Judas the "Son of Destruction," and said it would have been better if he had never been born.

At the end of the day, that's up to God -- though Jesus' words in the Gospels ("It would have been better if this man had never been born") might give us a good clue.

I think Jesus and him are good friends up in heaven right now. The past is in the past.

No he was not forgiven because he did not ask to be forgiven. He hung himself because he thought that his sin was greater than the mercy of God.
